I like to think they are agreeuing with me. Let's get the order right LK.Lord Kangana wrote:You agreeing with the French bobo?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

People are getting very fed up with this. At some point there'll be a backlash of vigilantes and it'll get ugly. Cue a lot of squealing looters on TV complaining about being given a kicking.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

Plain clothed police in Manchester:

Supposedly going off Twitter the police are doing a good job.

London joins Amy Winehouse and Norway in the growing list of victims of Rupert Murdoch's "Operation Distraction".

Interestingly enough, reporter has just said that Police are asking all people heading in to Manchester City centre to remove hoodies, caps, anything that can obscure or hide the face.bobo the clown wrote:I like to think they are agreeuing with me. Seems sensible pre-emptive policing to me.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Actually, just read about a large group of Millwall fans on the streets last night protecting their homes and streets from looters

All this attention, the little nice people are loving it.....
I'd let Hobo loose on the c*nts, police aren't comfortable using force incase it goes wrong....very very tough job for the emergency services. Fingers crossed.

Aye there has just been a group of 50-70 people in Enfield on SN, out ensuring their properties are "safe".P.O.S. wrote:Wandering Willy wrote:People are getting very fed up with this. I rather think if they came across some hooded yoofs, they might ask them to move along...

Hang on a second.
I've heard this mentioned elsewhere. Somehow or other its being twisted that their actions re the G20 were somehow justified now that this has happened.
It isn't. David Cameronspoke of not having hindsight as a weapon. Lets not employ it now.

Re: Here we go (aka UK riots thread)
The fires and death(s) are terrible but all the footage I've seen of the kids "at work" has been pretty lame.
They even seem half-arsed at rioting, no wonder they can't be bothered to get a job.
I've not been following today's action but yesterday it sounded like it was organized through blackberry messages. I know all the kids have 'em but those things are either expensive or have decent-sized 2 year contracts. They don't sound like they're in poverty.
Someone on BBC News was saying he/she saw a Porsche stop outside a Debenhams and load up, then come back half an hour later and fill up again.
I dislike the Tories as much as the next man but this is just lazy kids doing something because no-one's going to stop them. If they are caught are they going to be charged with anything? Any prison time? Anything?

The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
Re: Here we go (aka UK riots thread)
My sister is stranded at the Dog and Patridge, barricaded in - cant get home as there's a group of these wankers outside Ikon, which she would have to pass.
When, and how is all this going to end?

Re: Here we go (aka UK riots thread)
An MP earlier said they'd spotted known gang members in amongst it, so they'll be the ones with the flash cars I suppose.

Aye - but our self-styled leader of the revolution has been noticeably absent during these shenanigans. Working undercover perhaps?
