Tuncay is very interesting. If on loan can see us buying two others regardless of whether Cahill stays or goes.

Bolton agreed a £3.5m (rising to 6m) deal for Jerome?

A fee of £3.5 million, rising to £6 million, has been agreed in principle."

Just a medical to go.

So that'd be Tuncay, SWP and Jerome that we're negotiating with at the same time. I guess, if this is true, it puts the brakes well and truly on the N'Gog deal. Nixon also reporting that Stoke are in the running for SWP, willing to offer a bit more money, but in football terms, he'd rather play for us. So I suppose that one comes down to the Coyle factor plus a vaguely comparable wage to Stoke...

If Jerome signs, I'll be cheering for him the same as any other player despite my scepticism.

I really can't see Jerome being the answer to our striker problems. He did score a good goal against us in fa cup but I doubt he will even get more goals than SKD. Ngog will be a good gamble and could become a good player for us, SWP would be mint a really threat going forward, getting a better feelin of Tuncay as well think he will link up well with petrov, SWP and Holden when back! This article says interest in Jerome dropped, despite them lowering the asking price to 3.5m.

Whatever Colin Tattum says you can normally disregard as heavily biased in Birmingham's favour. He's well known for it.

Doubt we'll end up paying anything like 6m. If we pay 3-3.5m then we're getting a fair deal for a decent player and a potential long-term replacement for Davies.

Everyone can have a bad season, hopefully last season was Jerome's. The previous two PL campaigns he got a return of 7 goals and 11 goals, which are much more respectable.

Imagine if it had been that dick Megson signing Jerome

We'd have been spitting feathers
