Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
If we get the mystery striker/wide-man in this week, I sense we might go quiet until the craziness of deadline day when I'm sure the opportunity for a sneaky loan or two will arise.

Tuncay deal agreed according to the Daily Snail:

I checked 'kicker' this morning and he wasn't in the Wolfsburg squad at the weekend. Always quite liked him so hope he can do the biz for us.

I've just been checking the Daily Nazi for my daily Diana conspiracy fix and I came across this:

Is there anything in the papers re signing Tuncay?
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

Is Prince Phillip his agent by any chance?

Tuncay is nowhere near as some folk seem to thing. That said, fits the bill of the third winger/striker signing, and isn't utter gash either. Being on loan presumably saves us pennies for this year too. IF we can get SWP, and hope Bobo injuring Jerome hasn't made him cheaper, and thus more likely, and can instead get N'gog or another decent one up top I'll be chuffed.

I see that the mail has reported that Diana has died. Anything about Tuncay?
Businesswoman of the year.

Report from a German site:
http://www.newsclick.de/index.jsp/menui ... d/14685488" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Can't be bothered doing a full translation right now but the gist is that Tuncay has been in England since Monday negotiating with OC and the board - a transfer sum of £3m is being discussed but a loan is also possible. Felix Magath said on Wednesday that it looks like there will soon be an agreement. Tuncay was signed by the previous manager, Hoeness. When Magath took over he said that players like Tuncay were all very well but relatively useless in a relegation battle. Here's hoping we aren't in one this season then!

SSN now reporting us to be in 'official' talks with SWP
Thought from all the talk on here that this was the deal furthest away from fruition?

it's all a matter of finely judged Nixon percentages!

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Oh god, he's turning into Harry Redknapp.Bolton have confirmed that talks over deals for Shaun Wright-Phillips and Tuncay are ongoing.
Owen Coyle's men have long been favourites to land England winger Wright-Phillips, who is only on the fringes of the first team at Manchester City.
Roberto Mancini has admitted he will not be a regular, so would not stand in his way if he wanted to leave.
Sunderland and Wigan are also keen, but Bolton are in pole position to land him.
"Shaun is a tremendous player," said Coyle.
"He is someone I would love to bring to the club. Whether it is possible, only time will tell.
"There are financial implications involved. Players at Manchester City are on contracts that are more than we could pay. There is a threshold we cannot go beyond.
"But there has been dialogue between our chairman and (City chief executive) Garry Cook. That is where we are at the moment. There is nothing concrete."
Skysports.com revealed Bolton had made a move for Tuncay - currently at Wolfsburg, and a loan deal is now close.
"We are a good way down the line with that but it is not cut and dried," he said.
"He is a terrific player, who really works his socks off."

Let's hope not. Redknapp is a wax-faced saggy chops corrupt bastard whilst OC is as fresh and handsome as a daisy.
