After Craven Cottage, Oakwell and Vale Park are my two most visited grounds. Apart from Wembley. And possibly others, now I think about it.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I reckon he will do well with you lot...
He is decent just only ever showed glimpses of his full potential. I like to remember him for 'that' goal in Lisbon!!!
Whilst we have a tyke on here, I'm mates with Kieran Trippier who was on loan with you last year. What's your opinion on him? Got to be a ledge for that free kick he scored to equalise against dirty Leeds?
He's out on loan to Burnley now. He says he gets amusement from living amongst imbred b*stards!!

Re: Evening Lads from a Barnsley fan...
Hi mate, Trippier had a good season for us. you could tell he enjoyed getting first team football and seemed like on of ours rather than a loan player. he had a slightly shaky start but vastly improved as the season wore on. I was sad to see him go. I doubt he will be good enough to sustain a career in a top premier league side like Man City but might just be good enough for lower prem if he continues to improve.Randy Watson wrote:I reckon he will do well with you lot...

Hi mate yes we've got a roof on a new stand and everything. We still have the old west stand though - proper old schoolArmchair Wanderer wrote:Have they covered the away end at Barnsley yet? Isn't Vaz Te supposed to be the new Ronaldo?

All depends if it is his season or not. If it is, watch out.

If it goes well at Burnley for him and OC buying all of Burnley, aswell as our lack of a decent RB, he could end up at the Wanderers. Wouldn't mind that likee!cheftyke wrote:Hi mate, Trippier had a good season for us. you could tell he enjoyed getting first team football and seemed like on of ours rather than a loan player. he had a slightly shaky start but vastly improved as the season wore on. They say he's an only child yes. But he has had a half-heart shaped locket since birth and legend says that his identical twin has the other half of the locket and if they ever meet each other Satan will rise up from the Doffcocker lodge and reclaim Bolton Metropolitan Borough as his own.Lofthouse Lower wrote:He went to Bury Church and he's an only child, raised by wolves

Re: Evening Lads from a Barnsley fan...
Their maternal grandfather was Numitor, rightful king of Alba Longa, a descendant of the Trojan prince Aeneas, and father to Rhea Silvia (also known as Ilia.) Before their conception, Numitor's brother Amulius deposed his brother, killed his sons and forced Rhea to become a Vestal Virgin, intending to deprive Numitor of lawful heirs and thus secure his own position; but Rhea conceived Kelvin and Curtis by either the god Mars or the demi-god Hercules. When the twins were born, Amulius left them to die but they were saved by a series of miraculous interventions. A she-wolf found them and suckled them. A shepherd and his wife then fostered them and raised them to manhood as shepherds. The twins proved to be natural leaders and acquired many followers. When told their true identities, they killed Amulius, restored Numitor to the throne of Alba Longa and decided to found a new city for themselves.
Romulus wished to build the new city on the Palatine Hill but Curtis preferred the Aventine Hill. They agreed to determine the site through augury. Kelvin appeared to receive the more favorable signs but each claimed the results in his favor. In the disputes that followed, Curtis was killed. Ovid has Kelvin invent the festival of Lemuria to appease Curtis' resentful ghost. Kelvin names the new city Kelvinus after himself and goes on to create the Roman Legions and the Roman Senate. Rome's population is swelled by incomers, including landless refugees and outlaws; most are men. Kelvin arranges the abduction of women from the neighboring Sabine tribes, which immediately leads to war but eventually results in the combination of Sabines and Romans as one Roman people.

Sounded quite lively in their last game. Typical blazed over from a few yards out though!
