What was the reason for the reversal re bad light?
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

Re: creeeeeckeeeett
it's not clear - one can only speculate that the umpires realised they'd got it wrong...Wandering Willy wrote:What was the reason for the reversal re bad light?

Was that because of the light?

off for bad light again...
how can this situation - floodlights on - england coasting - be defined as in any sense "dangerous" except to India's pride??

No point in England declaring now, you'd feel, because if it's "dangerous" for a team closing in on 700 to bat, you shudder to think how the ICC might describe conditions for a team facing the new ball, three pace bowlers and a deficit of 463.

Tresnan flogs a six to bring up the 700...

Re: creeeeeckeeeett
Magnificant day and superb batting from Cook and Morgan. Glad Morgan got his ton, really like the lad. Bresnan showing the art of the straight drive is still alive and well. Good show by all the lads and a shame Cook was just a few runs off a triple ton. Tomorrow might well see it all over if the bowlers shape as well as the batsmen. Superb. 7 bleeding hundred.

That looked like a very, very faint edge from Dravid...In fact it was that faint I'm not sure he hit it.

Yes, he walked, but it looks like it might have actually nicked his off-stump, without dislodging the bail.thebish wrote:Worthy4England wrote:

At this rate, could be all tucked up and ready for bed before the footy kicks-off.
I'm starting to think they all have tickets to QPR v Bolton
Edit: now that's a really inventive way to get out. Even I'm impressed.
