Jussi Jaaskelainen 5 A few "Jussi moments" with not a lot to do

Paul Robinson 6 steady game by Robbo

Gretar Steinsson 5 nearly gifted a goal with a dodgy clearence overall not too bad

Zat Knight 6 decent game but will need to improve against a team with real teeth

Gary Cahill 8 solid and showed his class today

Nigel Reo-Coker 7 will be a real class signing on this show

Fabrice Muamba 7 best from the boy for a while still needs to improve short passing

Chris Eagles 7 bloody shrewd signing methinks

Kevin Davies 6 good game slowed down a lot last 15 or so

Ivan Klasnic 6 much better all round performance still a threat in the box

Martin Petrov 7 actually looked like he was enjoying the game, could have had goal of the season already!

Substitutes

Adam Bogdan 0

David Wheater 0

Marcos Alonso 0

Ricardo Gardner 0

Mark Davies 5 little time

Darren Pratley 5 ditto

Robbie Blake 5 probrbly barring a disaster last league appearence happy 100 in the prem

Team 8 solid away result against a potential banna skin fixture.

Steinsson - 3 = customary gifting of at least one chance to oppo

True. He did then stop the resultant shot going in though!

Fair enough yes, but the giving away of the chance was shocking, if not surprising.

I'd definitely add 1 to Steinsson I thought he had a good game and probably a 7 for SKD.

8/10 for Hoboh - losing points for the thread title.

jmjhb is correct - we won 4-0 away in the second best ever start to a prem league season and hoboh struggles to average 6.5 for the players' performance... For shame!

This may be the hoboh who has just taken the tablets of course, not the one that normally posts, who often expresses himself with exuberance...

[PS I was there when we beat Leicester 5-0... :D :D :D :D :D ]

Steinsson was one of our better players today. Controversially I waited for the game to start before deciding, like. Jussi had fook all to do, nor Robbo. Knight was as shit as anyone winning a game 4-0 could be, can not head it in the right direction. Steinsson solid, Eagles busily anonymous, Petrov, typically, utter wank until we were on top, thereafter he was very good, Reo Coker quietly effective and Cohen-esque in book-ability, KD slow but effective, Klasnic just for the kiss kiss, hero, plus goal. Motm, tireless, beautiful, heart warming forever remembered goal, topped by a maradona on the edge of his own box. Should get it just coz he scored, but was genuinely tireless, don of a man, Fabrice fecking Muamba

Tuncay will be on the bench next game and will come on for Klasnic instead of Blake.

Steinsson was class, should've gotten at least a 6 from hoboh. Muamba my man of the match, maybe because I din't expect that performance from him.

2/3rds of the forwards in this league would have buried Steinssons half assed clearance thats why he got 5

To read some of these posts you would have thought we got turned over ourselves 4-nil! FFS a very tidy win in a banana peel fixture that after our 1-0 loss to Tampa Bay more than one on here said QPR was going to turn us over. I am basking in the glow of this big win.
