Ngog move a no-go insist Liverpool

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has blocked Bolton's £4million move for reserve striker David Ngog - because he has not yet found his replacement.

Dalglish rejected an offer from Owen Coyle's club for the Frenchman, but the Anfield club will sell if they are able to get cover in before the window shuts at the end of the month.

Ngog was linked with Sunderland in a proposed swap deal for Jordan Henderson earlier this summer before the Kop bought the young midfielder outright.

They've got Kuyt, Suarez, Pacheco and Carroll as strikers and then if you add in the fact they normally play with 1 striker and then 3 attacking mid and two pushed back they don't need a replacement
good arguement, but you're omitting the fact that Dalgleish is a complete wanker !

I think is probably the correct answer, assuming we have another CD lined up somewhere.

Liverpool not in Europe this year so why do they need N'Gog, only time he ever plays in the Europa anyways.

This.

He is just increasing his bargaining power when he goes in for Cahill. Make a player unavailable and we can up his price in negotiations.

Its business at the end of the day.

Could be. I assumed we would go for that Man City guy.

I'm fecking praying we have somebody lined up! Hardly out of the blue if he goes!

There is also a Nixon story about Onouha who wants away from City. Apparently we would be interested but only if Cahill goes.

Maybe not from outside the box but did you see his effort at Stamford Bridge last season?

I heard that McCoist is non to happy about this as ex-Celtic favourite Frank McAvennie is his agent and has been trying to 'engineer' a move down for for the youngster

From Joey Barton's twitter;

Think there gonna be the seasons dark horses Bolton, some good signings by Coyle. Hard working team. Off to play golf now.......mash potato
No chance he's coming here as we a) don't want him and b) don't need him but i'm sure it'll get some attention in the press. Plus I didn't know where else to put this :wink:
