Aye we've offered about half what Wigan have offered in wages. End of the day these offers have been on the table for a week and still SWP hasnt really undertaken talks with any of the clubs and seems content biding his time. I get the sense he'd be quite happy to stay at City!

Aye, to be fair both Stoke and Wigan are offering more money than us and he hasn't gone to either of them yet.

I suspect it's not entirely about money but about SWP finally coming to terms with the fact that he isn't wanted by his boyhood club and his career at the very top level is probably over!

Bolton are set to beat West Brom to the signature of Rangers’ Gregg Wylde.

The Trotters had an opening bid of £350,000 rejected, but plan to make a new offer for the winger.

Albion also had a £330,000 bid snubbed by Gers.

Rangers do not want to lose Wylde, but he wants more money.
