Bolton v Blue Moonies
A top of the table clash sees the Whites ready to terrify our dearly beloved near neighbours... Shops boarded, magistrates' courts prepared for all night sittings - and that's understandable as we go crazy celebrating the stuffing of the great pretenders...
Can we beat the Citeh?
You bet!

Not to pour cold water etc, but watching them destroy Swansea calls for no chicken counting. Hope we show a few more gnashers than Swansea mind, but Silva, Dzeko and Aguero are tricky as a bag of ferrets. Any sort of a point will be just fine. Anything else may require a mid-week trip to Lourdes. Their team-sheet looks like somebody who wipedthe board at Monopoly. Caution is called for....

I have Hart and Jussi as my two keepers in FF, impossible decision to make.

Settle for a point now, but I think Premier League experience and a rock-hard centre midfield pairing like Muamba and Reo-Coker would probably be better served against the multi-millionaires than Swansea's relatively weak spine. Hopefully we'll show a bit better than the last time we played each other...
On the optimistic side, does this now make Sunday's fixture a championship six-pointer???

On paper City have the lot, power, strength, pace, skill, solidity, organisation, finishing ability and in Aguero and Silva that spark of genius!
Bit like when we play Chelsea think we should settle for a 2-0 defeat and say thanks very much!

Hey, I advised caution, not bloody Sepuku. Can't be any worse than Ribery and co and we came away with a draw there playing away. And we've got Muamba.BWFC_Insane wrote:On paper City have the lot, power, strength, pace, skill, solidity, organisation, finishing ability and in Aguero and Silva that spark of genius!

Re: Bolton v Blue Moonies
errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmm I'm still more confident than when we played them without Agueryo last season
Infact wasnt the lad sent off when he came here with Athletico?
Its 11 v 11 at the end of the day....their 11 is just a bit better than ours....fight and we could get a point. Have to play better than last sat though, especially first half!
Can't see him changing the team, wonder if Mancini will grow a pair and start less than 3 defensive mids?

We could do them if we work hard enough and catch them on the break... I mean we are top of the league!

Thank god for the alphabet - it was getting a bit close there! I don't fancy Knight and Aguero, Cahill will be busy with the "lamp-post".

Didn't we shackle Aguero with Badger McCann ond Joey O'Brien when we played Atletico?
Didn't even put our first team out.

Aguero was on the pitch for all of about five minutes, before he was sent off for spitting - shortly thereafter, Dioufy scored the winner. Aguero was thus suspended for the second leg. So the idea should be, again, to either rile him or nobble him at the first opportunity.Worthy4England wrote:Didn't we shackle Aguero with Badger McCann ond Joey O'Brien when we played Atletico?
