N'Gog story in the Liverpool Daily Post:
"KENNY DALGLISH’S clearout of his Liverpool FC squad is set to continue with striker David Ngog on the verge of joining Bolton Wanderers.
The 22-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield this summer, and is now closing in on a £4million switch to the Reebok Stadium."

Must confess I know nothing about this paper, and whether being a local rag it may be closer to Dalglish than others, but it's one of the more strongly worded reports about N'Gog. However... not a single quote.

The Sun has been saying that £10m + Ngog is on the cards. The Echo's report sounds better for us at £4m for him, and then I'd be happy with £12-13m for Cahill, maybe even a mark less. I'd hate for us to start playing hardball still at this point in the window, because whether or not you feel Cahill would sign a new deal, what's clear is that there'd be a question mark hanging over his future for some time to come.
He'd literally have to sign on the dotted line within a couple of weeks of the window slamming shut to quell all doubt about it, anything other than that would probably mean he's off for a cut-price January exit, or worse still gone for free next summer.

Liverpool don't want Cahill, not for the price we're asking. Dalglish doesn't have that sort of money.
Cahill isn't going to Liverpool in any way right now!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Widely reported that he needs to raise some cash. Nixon has repeatedly said Liverpool aren't after Cahill. The Liverpool press this morning are saying the same, that whilst he may like Cahill as a player, he won't be spending anything like our asking price. So its a no go.seanworth wrote:How do you know?BWFC_Insane wrote:Liverpool don't want Cahill, not for the price we're asking. Dalglish doesn't have that sort of money.

Coyle was also very angry when Liverpools interest reported suggesting he knew there was no chance of any such deal!

Sources on Merseyside suggest the Reds are preparing a bid for Sochaux’s Ryad Boudebouz, this should allow us to sign ngog maybe this week
