Equally, it's seldom a great idea to get too tight on someone with a centre of gravity a foot lower than thine. Which is not to defend Knight, who IMO isn't as good as Wheater and is a league behind Cahill. I don't dislike the big fella, and obviously nor does Coyle – I thought he'd been brought back in at Wembley just to combat Stoke's height, but he's still there four months later – but I do agree that he's nowhere near as imposing as he should be for his size.
