And the chance to see Pratley in a full proper game.
That too, although for all his pre-season promise I'm not sure that'd drag tens of thousands to Horwich. But for all my usual talk of not changing teams too much for cup games, I'm quite excited to hear about the kids, plus the new players, the continuing development of Alonso, the chance for Wheater to stake a claim, and of course the return of Ricardo 'Bibi – no, Legend - no, Bibi' Gardner :D
Ricardo, is out injured as per I believe!

Should be a good warm up for Saturday.

Anyone going to Anfield at the weekend? Nice competition to win a pair of tickets here: http://bit.ly/nHZnPt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I expected a number of our reserves to get a game tonight but apart from Bogdan and Riley the other likely candidates played in the reserves last night so it's unlikely players like Connolly ,Vella or Blakeman will be involved to any great degree.

It'll be a run out for most of the subs that have been on the bench the last 2 games I should imagine.

I expect the team will be something like:
Bogdan, Riley, Wheater, Knight, Alonso, Eagles, Pratley, M.Davies, Petrov ( or Ricky G if fit) Blake, Tuncay.

I expect Blake will play out on the right with one of SKD or Klasnic up front with Tuncay!

Robbo could even play left back with Alonso infront like we tried in the friendly against Levante.

BWFCi - Depends on Eagles' recovery rate - he was knackered when subbed and we need him on Saturday (unless OC is going balls-out with Tuncay wide right)

Wire - aye, if Robbo can play three in a week it might help to have his experience at the back, although looks like Connolly won't start with Riley so probs Wheater/Knight in the middle
