Indeed. For me it's Dimitri's or nowt. Which, I suppose, is why I'm interested. Especially if it means that I don't have to stand around watching folk eat and drink for an hour.boltonboris wrote:Will do.. But not sure they will!

He's a bit faster then me so quite good to run with. 2 miles is a start Harry, willing to bet you did it waaay faster then me, even with an injury
Glad you're back training. Don't over do it
Got the cross country fixtures list through yesterday.
This on top of 2 10k races in early September and my first triathlon at the beginning of October!

Bring it on.

Aye. That's what drunken bravado does for you.
I'm also committed to do an Ironman before I'm 50.

Have you got all the expensive gear GTE? Flash bike & a wetsuit? I noticed that next years UK Iron Man in Bolton is £400 a pop!

I've got 5 years to get up to Ironman standard yet. I only need to worry about the wetsuit when I do Open Water swimming. The tri I'm doing is a pool in Bedford and I'm going to buy some slicks for my MTB. I'll get a tri suit, though.

Wife, daughter and son-in-law plus one kid went to the pics to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Daughter and lad said it was great, son-in-law was a bit disappointed, wife said good but not spectacular. I opted out in favour of listening to the match.

Camping in Dorset for the weekend.
Just about to set off for a 100 (ish) mile journey which should take 2 hours and will, undoubtedly, be double that. It's pissing down too so pithching the tent should be fun.
