Are you saying I'm fat?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Why? Coyle is looking at alternatives if one of those happens before SWP then we won't sign SWP.Bruno3 wrote:Better to tell him to f*ck off now - he's p*ssed around long enough
No need for deadlines there is a big fat one forced on us in less than a week anyhow.
IF we said to SWP, sorry you've messed around enough we're not interested now, then failed to sign anyone else and it turned out we could have had SWP on deadline day had we not pissed him off by telling him he'd missed the boat, cos City were prepared to pay him off to make up in the drop of wages, well we'd be pretty silly.
Stay in the race for SWP, go for other targets, whichever happens first, bingo!

Let SWP weigh up his options if he likes. We have made our position clear with him and City, and we move on to line up the next one.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Aye best to bear in mind that all the time 'SWP' is weighing up his options, the more opportunity it's givng us to appraoch other targets who may be getting twitchy at not having moved with less than a wek to go before TW closes and who may be more amenable to a cut-price deal. So it works both ways, and all this waiting wont actually be doing him any favours with any of the clubs looking to sign him.

You only want him to sign, so you can credit Nixon with it.BWFC_Insane wrote:Why? Coyle is looking at alternatives if one of those happens before SWP then we won't sign SWP.Bruno3 wrote:Better to tell him to f*ck off now - he's p*ssed around long enough

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
If it was as simple as that he'd have signed for QPR by now Hoboh. He obviously prefers us over other options but perhaps can't afford a 50% reduction in wages. And before anyone starts on the "30K a week is more than I earn in a year" stuff, tis all relative. If his lifestyle costs 50 a week and he wants the rest for his family or charities or whatever, then thats where he's at. We could all manage on half our wages after all folk "manage" with nowt but a muddy water hole and a handful of rice every few days, but in all likelihood aren't prepared to, no different for Phillips!Hoboh wrote:Not sure I'd want anyone to whom money is the first thing they want!Owen'sEleven wrote:Spot on.BWFC_Insane wrote:Why? Only want him or any decent winger to sign because we have no cover and as yet don't know how effective Eagles will be game in game out!boltonboris wrote:You only want him to sign, so you can credit Nixon with it.BWFC_Insane wrote:Why?
