Probably wrong thread but briefly:

One's a distasteful joke about the perpetrator of genocide, the other is a piggy bank.

Its just a mug though, isn't it?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Indeed - they're both equally great ideas.

I'd say that 6 to 8 £m is his true worth.

In old money I'd agree.

Then I look at the likes of Lescott, Jagielka, Jones and of course Caroll and you have to wonder where prices are going.

My two-penneth. I'm with LK and Pru. On Cheese's side but less so. And I feel Pru's example is more than comparable. JSL.

Here's a sobering thought: When my daughters were small ( and before all the hoo-ha started)they had a Golly (the end bit never even came into it). They didn't point at it, comment on its colour or difference or keep it in a seperate pram. The took it to bed and loved it just like the other dolls. They'd never heard of racism so why should they? It had equality just like the rest. And then they grew up and were probably baffled at all the nonesense that had suddenly appeared. Something that was normal had been made an issue of where none existed.

Oh, and the name of the controversial money box wasn't "Jolly NXXXXX Boy" or anything like. It was a "Little Joe Moneybox".

Wanker.

He's just paid £12-15m for an infant whose never played out of the bottom divisions.

Well, tbh, if that's his worth we aren't losing much if he leaves for nowt in 10 months time.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Express says we are to try and finalise the deal for Ngog now that we have finally called time on moves for Sturridge & Jefferson .

Jefferson :conf:

N'Gog deal will happen once we played Liverpool I would have thought, this loan deal for Leon would be good.

Does this mean we've built up a bit of a relationship with the special one? Or do you reckon we could send Agent Campo to have a word with the lad?
Pfffft.

Everything's dragging on at the moment. I've a feeling SWP is waiting for Joey Barton to decide if he's joining QPR before deciding for certain himself. If Barton joins, SWP will join too and thereby justify his move as more than a money issue and more about joining an 'exciting new challenge', i.e. they'll be two big name players who'll strut around the place like billy big bollocks, laughing in the face of fellow players such as Clint Hill , Tommy Smith et al who will be earning a relative pittance and who play like they deserve such a pittance.

Wigan have confirmed today they want SWP, so thats still knocking round. Personally if we have a viable alternative i'd be inclined to sack Phillips off now, right now, and go for that instead. He's had plenty of time, as good an offer as anyone joining the club will ever get. He's nearly 30 and he aint that good. It's 5 days to window end, time to try and wrap things up now.

So did we agree a fee with City for him?

Mentioned on SSN that QPR had agreed a fee of £3m with Citeh with us being interested. Mmm, thought we'd got past that stage?
Pfffft.
