Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

FWIW, i used to be in there regular when i worked near by, and its still my first choice if we go into town now. tremendous! better than El Rincon, IMO and thats a BOLD statement.
It was about a shit-hole called Bazouki by Night mate.. Bruce was asking me to compare it to Dimitri's, which it just doesn't

Just about to set off for a 100 (ish) mile journey which should take 2 hours and will, undoubtedly, be double that. It's pissing down too so pithching the tent should be fun. :evil:

Took me 4 1/2 hours and it WAS pissing down pretty much all the way.

Had a great weekend though. Corfe Castle is an amazing monument with a fantastic history. Very busy though in the village and also Swanage, Wareham and Studland. Ate some fantastic food at The Greyhound in Corfe where they also had a Beer and Cider 'festival'.

Rained at bit too but some sun was to be had.

All in all a fantastic and chilled weekend.

Going to spoil that soon with an hours speed endurance session.

Just watching last night's Dragon's Den. There's a girl on who had the idea for her product whilst camping in Dorset - it's a collapsable stool that you shit through the middle of, into a bin liner. Surely there's room for the line here that "Two of the Dragons have poo-pooed her idea". :D

indeed - she does that all the time... the whole bunch of money-grubbing toss-wipes make my snot boil. on that show they whined at one bloke because he dared to ask for business advice as well as money - yet when the leaflet deliverers jog up - they all bend over backwards to insist they can give the best advice...

True is that. That SA guy's chairs would sit proudly in so many up-market establishments, and could definitely, as the guy claimed, achieve iconic status if sold at that particular level. But, they require pitching at a level that requires a lot of work. I'm quite stunned that not one of them could see the benefit of the long-term investment and the requirement on their part to impart their own expertise.

My friend went to get three tickets to go to see a band;
He ended up buying 8! ($244)

(because his housemate's friends are coming down from Sydney for his Birthday)

"Yes" Their first show sold out, and lucky for me they have added a second

Here is some Free + Legal Tracks

The few albums on that Record Label are on there because the Vocalist made a bet and lost a Billiards game and thus are on the label.

Last night I went to see Stella Feehiy's new play at the Octagon. Bang, Bang, Bang is set in the present day 'Democratic Republic of Congo' a catastrophically failed state, in a region of permanent warfare, murder, and wave after wave of displaced people. Kidnappings, rapes (approx 1000 a day) according to a 'guardian' article, and children as young as eight turned into child soldiers, high on hash, and equipped with kalashnikovs... Mad...

The playwright throws into this craziness an Irish female human rights worker approaching 30... and her French assistant, just left university...

Let me give you a hint - it isn't a comedy!

It is shocking, powerful, moving and complex and a little over-ambitious... it sometimes felt like i was being put through a wringer, but i was glad I went...

not an Octagon production, incidentally, but a well known touring company, called 'Out of Joint'.

First Octagon production opens on 22 Sept and stars Margot Leicester. Peolpe who know her work will know they are in for a display of very fine acting. Bruce R once said he'd pay to watch her read the yellow pages out loud...

I can't wait... details... http://www.octagonbolton.co.uk/page/145 ... -Woolf/221" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I wasn't hibernating... I was lying on a portuguese beach, reading, and sometimes floating around in the atlantic, in between eating fish and drinking green wine...

It has been a very busy fortnight... :D

Got our tickets for Bang Bang Bang ready. We were going on Saturday night but changed them to Wednesday, then had to change them again due to circumstances beyond our control but definitely going next Wednesday evening! We were going to take a 13yr old with us but phoned the Octagon for advice and was told it probably wasn't suitable. You've just confirmed that, thank you.
