EDIT: In fact I will show it if we sign him especially as it would take the whole of any Cahill fee to do so, plus more probably!Worthy4England wrote:BWFCI will show his arse on the Town Hall steps if that one happens.Holden midfielder wrote:Adam Johnson could be inbound to the Reebok, you heard it here first. Some of the twitter courting of Nixon by Bolton fans is pretty embarrassing. The guy must think he has the biggest cock on the internet the way folk flock to him: "ooh is there anything in suchadeal?" "any movement on Cahill" "what's happening with suchabody"
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
If your gonna make up transfer rumours, at least make them believable.Holden midfielder wrote:Adam Johnson could be inbound to the Reebok, you heard it here first. I am not "itk."

Agreed. Cringeworthy.hisroyalgingerness wrote:Some of the twitter courting of Nixon by Bolton fans is pretty embarrassing. To be fair though, he is only filling the void of our local paper which should be providing the sort of info he is on there, but doesnt!hisroyalgingerness wrote:Some of the twitter courting of Nixon by Bolton fans is pretty embarrassing. Just behind Lady Gaga, who would also like to lay claim to the biggest cock on the internet.hisroyalgingerness wrote:Some of the twitter courting of Nixon by Bolton fans is pretty embarrassing. Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
The evolution of our transfer tittle tattle goes thus:
Goal.com picks up a story, likely leaked by an agent to generate interest
Some twitdude rocks up "hey Nicko, any truth in this Rivaldo to Bolton rumour"
Generic reply comes back "plenty of irons in the fire"
twitdude comes to message board "it may be possible this, Nixon says so
Rational people say "no quotes"
Some quotes
Cautious people say "wait for PSG"
We wait
Meh. All for the sake of trying to be the "first" to "break" a story

Always has been, always will be.
Any twitdude (good summary) can post Johnson/Onuaha/Ronaldo/ Rooney coming.
But without facts its just made up rubbish.

True. But I guess lots of people love the intrigue of rumours, and the activity behind transfers. Sky have made a fcking industry out of it.hisroyalgingerness wrote:The evolution of our transfer tittle tattle goes thus:

Nixon has kind of taken away the whole ITK stuff cos he answers queries pretty instantly on players and if it's a no he says so. I guess he has to be more cagey about the ones we may be pursuing or talking to.
Oh for the days of trying to catch a glimpse of the BN back page headline or reading some complete bullshit on the teletext ads for the premium rate rumours phone lines. Now that was bullshit! Internet has changed things forever no doubt!

Agreed. Personally I haven't asked Nixon anything however I do check his page a few times a day just in the way I check the mirror site/sky sports transfer centre or such like when am bored in my breaks at work. He's just a journalist and it's just a website and covers for Bolton related business then most and not usually the 'pick a man city name out the hat' of other websites.BWFC_Insane wrote:To be fair though, he is only filling the void of our local paper which should be providing the sort of info he is on there, but doesnt!hisroyalgingerness wrote:Some of the twitter courting of Nixon by Bolton fans is pretty embarrassing. However HRG has a point in relation to the few nice people like that JayJay2345 who's on Nixons case at least 4/5 a day asking him to yay or nay the most bullshit stories you've ever heard. Some would call it stalking...

Aye completely agree. Was toying with the idea of getting a twitter account myself to ask a few questions, but then he got completely swamped with nobs as you say asking pointless question after question, when it's clear there is no fecking news!wanderers_on_tour wrote:Agreed. Mancini has said today AJ is surplus to requirements, we would have to be a top choice to get him on loan. Mancini loves Coyle, we play good stuff, we are close by, Coyle would be an attraction for AJ because he would make him feel like Pele.

and I would, personally, film the evnt for all those who couldn't be there .... or those stood so far back in the assembled throng they could barely make out the pimples.Bruce Rioja wrote:There'll be no room for BWFCI, or indeed for anyone else, as I'll be there with mine out!Worthy4England wrote:BWFCI will show his arse on the Town Hall steps if that one happens.Holden midfielder wrote:Adam Johnson could be inbound to the Reebok, you heard it here first. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I find this unbelievable on City's part. Apart from Tevez & Silva he was one of their top players last year, far more dangerous than say Milner. If he is going to be made available I expect there will be a long queue for him. With us someway near the back.Holden midfielder wrote:Mancini has said today AJ is surplus to requirements, we would have to be a top choice to get him on loan. We couldn't take him on loan though. Since we already have Boyata.

Birmingham fan I know has said there is big talk about Scott Dann coming to us.
I mentioned this idea a month ago or so, but it got shot down. Would be a fantastic replacement for Cahill.
