Also I had no idea N'Gog wa 6 foot 3, i know height isn't the most important thing when it comes to heading the ball (see peter crouch and zat knight) but it'd do well if he can get on the end of some petrov/eagles/tuncay crosses.
Even when fit won't be ready. We should loan him back to Oldham or Preston for a year before we think about promoting him. Not good enough yet.

@MarcIles
lots have asked - here's the answer. #bwfc new signing wants his name to be spelled David Ngog (pronounced N-go) NOT N'Gog. Thanks Rob!

If you wanted an apostrophe that'd probably cost the same as a letter.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Sorry I keep posting...I'm just seriously gutted we lost N'Gog as I think he has a big future ahead of him and the price you paid is a pittance for someone with his potential.

24 and shit?
Sure, you keep thinking that. :)

His name is pronounced "Daaavid En-Go".

Still gutted we lost him by the way. Here is a snippet of a post I made on a Liverpool board months ago:
At the end of the 2007-2008 season David N’gog moved to Liverpool from Paris Saint Germain having made 25 first team appearances and scoring 3 goals. He cost approximately 1.5 million euro’s.

In 3 seasons he has made 94 appearances and scored 19 goals with his tally split nearly down the middle for Europe and the Premier League.

He is 22 years old and considered a “failed prospect”.

In January of 2011 Andy Carroll moved to Liverpool from Newcastle for a fee of approximately 35 million euros becoming the 8th most expensive signing of all time. Since 08-09 when N’gog moved to Liverpool, Carroll has made 86 first team appearances and scored 35 goals. 19 of those goals were scored in the Championship and 16 in the Premiership.

He is 22 years old and is considered a “promising young player”.
Oddly enough I think I'm more gutted about this loss than when we lost Torres.

You do mean 'first thought is to see if he can pass it back to Reina, and if that isn't on go for the square ball to the fullback but over-hit it for a throw in. Then do a dive' Lucas don't you? That one?

I have many titles, but composer is not an official one yet.

Most of my compositions involve clapping

played the same ammount of games as Johan with the same ammount of goals..... Ngog played mainly from the bench getting the last periods of games... johan started pretty much every game.... Ngog is a good signing if he plays every week!

Again, you feel free to stick with your opinion. As someone who watches Lucas every week, I'll stick with mine.
I'll be sure to come tell you my expert opinion on Bolton players the next time I watch them.

If you feel like having a little education, go check out the Arsenal v Liverpool game from last season where our 2 young fullbacks came through. The only reason those 2 got such plaudits was because of Lucas.

Lucas is only 24 and he's already recognized by most people as one of the best "metronome" players in one of the biggest leagues in the world.

But I'm sure you're smarter than they are.

To be fair, Lucas is a good player, started out shakily but has become a very decent holding midfielder.

Never liked him on shooting stars though!

"For me, he's consistently been one of our best players this last season and will hopefully take that into next season," the Reds skipper told LFC Weekly.
"I would say Lucas," said (Glen) Johnson, when asked for his Liverpool Player of the Season in this week's LFC Weekly. "There were rumours at the start of the season that Liverpool were going to sell him but the way he's performed just shows you how quickly things can change in football.

"At the minute he's probably one of the first names in the starting 11. He's won the fans over now for sure, so fair play to him. I'm obviously very pleased for him and his family. He deserves the recognition."

Aaaandd....sadly no. I find quotes all over about Lucas being better than others said he was, but nothing that quite puts him in the light that I hold him. But that's fine. You can have that point and I'll keep Lucas on my team for the next 10 years.
:)

But seriously, if you get a chance, go watch that Arsenal v Liverpool match. It is an excellent example of why Lucas is held in such high regard inside of Liverpool. He doesn't do flash, and yes he even has bad moments, but generally speaking his teammates love him because he's always there to support everyone, whether that be a striker, fullback, centerback or in midfield.

Anyway, this is now off topic.

I still want N'gog back and now the soft spot in my heart for Bolton just got bigger.

He got S Davis sent off by being a horrible, dirty little cheat.

You can quote me on that.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.
