A relatively easy first half for him.
Re: Cahill vs Petrov
Oh god, I hate these partisan England commentators. You just know we're headed for another "golden generation" delusion.

What odds did you get?
I heard it was 33/1.
You are honour bound to send me half.

You Know, I'm sure I read something about his contract running out in 2013 a while back, but assumed I was wrong. Excellent if true.Sponge wrote:Gartside, you genius (if true)!jimbo_bwfc wrote:According to journo Duncan Castles;

Wenger truly is a bell.

It'd be easier on your maths to split it 3 ways.Wandering Willy wrote:What odds did you get?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Noticed Terry come across and shake Gary C's hand at half time. Joleon who?

Didn't JT want GC at Chelsea?TANGODANCER wrote:Noticed Terry come across and shake Gary C's hand at half time. Joleon who?
I think having a cheerleader like Terry on your side can do you no harm at all.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

My guess would be Nat I don't think Freddie Hill scored in his 2 appearances and we know Ricketts didn't score.Bruce Rioja wrote:First Bolton player to score for England since? Pretty sure it hasn't happened within my lifetime.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Nat's last goal for England was in 1958.Riviman wrote:My guess would be Nat I don't think Freddie Hill scored in his 2 appearances and we know Ricketts didn't score.Bruce Rioja wrote:First Bolton player to score for England since? Pretty sure it hasn't happened within my lifetime.

Re: Cahill vs Petrov
Remember him playing for England but not the goal in honesty. Memory a bit foggy now. Parry was a left-pegger and one of the hardest dead-ball hitters in the game. Replaced Bob Langton on the left wing for the Whites..Nice bloke, always pleasant when you went in his little kiosk on the corner of the town hall square. And now we have another...Can't wait for the morning papersbobo the clown wrote:..... was it a good one Tango ???Wandering Willy wrote:Ray Parry 1959?Bruce Rioja wrote:First Bolton player to score for England since? Re: Cahill vs Petrov
Not so. They had it all to do second half and we didn't have to try too hard unless they scored. Playing away and winning by a comfortable 3-0. What do you need, blood?Annoyed Grunt wrote:This second half has been shite.

I actually appreciate it was a good away result, just it was a bit boring.

From the BBC: "Bulgaria's only attacking weapon was the wayward shooting of Martin Petrov."
