Bought a pork pie with chillie jam. 4ucking thing's still burning my backbone. My fault!TANGODANCER wrote:Very hard to pass the town hall square and not have a large bratwurst and onions on a big roll.Bruce Rioja wrote:There's all sorts of culinary goings on going on, Chief. Nipped into to town and walked through the town hall square yesterday so I'm going to do it a bit more justice today.CAPSLOCK wrote:Tell me more?Bruce Rioja wrote:I'll be nipping down yon food circus thingy that's going on in town tomorrow, btw!
Pissed missen at one point, mind. There's a stall claiming to be doing genuine Polish tucker but has a blackboard up offering 'Big Sausage & Chips £3.50".
Disgustingly morerish.

You're not alone there CAPS. Went with Wllly Snr in January and despite being one of about 8 people in there I still managed to be served the wrong dish with chicken instead of lamb as ordered.CAPSLOCK wrote:Ahh, thowt it looked shut last Friday as my good lady drove us up to India Gate

Mugging you off like a two bob perhaps?

Wife just microwaved some mature chedder with chopped onion. Two thick slices of toastie loaf and thin sliced tomato on top. I'm going to suffer for this in the morning. I just know it.

Mozzarella is not a real cheese.Gary the Enfield wrote:General Mannerheim wrote:can somebody please advise the best cheese for putting in the centre of meatballs? ta
Mozzarella. Fact.
It is manufactured by harvesting old car tyres which are then bleached and processed to remove any taste.
More fancy mozzarella "cheeses" have poodle shit and lard added to justify a price increase.

Went to the Farmers market and sampled some Cumberland & Black pudding sausages. Bought a rather expensive pack and will treat myself to a couple of barms worth later
