Ah of course! Forum I wondered why said forum old boy hasn't posted in a while...

Anybody that watched the Liverpool game will have seen that if you play the ball inside of our full backs - that's us goosed. Expect plenty of that!

OOPS , been a long weekend lol ..... KLASNIC on bench replacing kakuta !!!!.... jesus thats a strongest bench ever !!!
Doubtless many of us have now & again looked at an opponents bench & thought "jeez, any one of them would get in our first team". I remember one Arsenal match in particular had me wondering at their strength in depth.

While I doubt Stretford fc will lose too much sleep the thought that we could start a game with;

BOGDAN,

MEARS, WHEATER, KNIGHT, RICKETTS,

LEE, MUAMBA, HOLDEN, EAGLES,

KLASNIC, N'GOG

KAKUTA, DAVIS

starting is some measure of how far we've come.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Indeed - when we played City the other week, warming up in front of me was Tevez, Zabaleta, Balotelli and Johnson!

Coyle is very loyal to his players so likely to be

Jussi
Steinsson-Cahill-Knight-Robinson
Eagles-Muamba-Reo-Coker-Petrov
Klasnic-Davies(C)

Subs:

Bogdan, Wheater, Mavies, Pratley, Tuncay, Kakuta, N'gog,

But the starting line up should be :

Jussi
Boyata-Cahill-Knight-Robinson
Kakuta-Muamba-Reo-Coker(C)-Petrov
Klasnic-Ngog

Plenty of people have already decided that Boyata has earnt a starting place, in just about whichever position he fancies, so why not?

I'd be shocked if any post-pre-season signing other than Tuncay starts against Utd.

Boyata will play though, regularly, not necessarily against Man Utd, but he will.

Rated very very highly by City, already featured in their first team, he will play.

Kakuta I suspect is a bit further behind in development and will probably not get AS many games here.

Young and fast by all accounts and we need pace up front to put some pressure on United, hence Ngog as well.

But whatever we do we will probably be on the end of another 4-0 beating based on how United have started this season!!

Often enough to make the judgement that he's good enough to walk into our first team in two seperate positions?

that judgement (not made by me) might be more to do with prevailing opinion about Steinner and Knight than Boyata! 8)

tom how do suppose we give him a chance then teams don't replace their CB during a game unless of injury's

my grand mother is better than knight and she's dead

i would't put him at right back tho unless we got no other IMO

Alonso can't be that shit if he's played for Madrid. Oh wait...

He could turn out decent but he couldn't get in Fulham's team, must be a reason for that.

My biggest concern against ManUre and us in a 4-4-2 though is Robbo getting slaughtered by their wingers, throw their wing backs into the equation and we could be overrun on the left side. Petrov and Robbo will not work, but Tuncay does track back and has a great work rate to help Robbo repel all boarders. Since there is nobody to spell Robbo at LB, Petrov has to make way. Tunny can play on the left wing. Tunny can also tie up the United fullback to keep him from bombing forward.

That may happen, as Petrov has a niggling back injury and will most likely have played 2 full internationals before the Man Utd game!

Alonso is not $hit, the lad just needs experience with the English game. Coyle will get him sorted and he will be a future star.
