Re: Boyata Signs
Frankly I feel less of myself if you presume I'm the kind of poster who would use feeble minded phrases like Liberal Fascism. It was intended to highlight the piousness of those who wish people to comply with their wishes, but would not extend the reciprocal courtesy to others.thebish wrote:I missed where anyone asked for a rule...Lord Kangana wrote:As long as that rule is extended to everyone, I'm 100% behind you.thebish wrote:It is not "liberal fascism" to ask someone not to be knowingly offensive.
All I saw was bobo asking LL not to - because he found it offensive. Did I miss something?
I'd always happily comply with an expectation that if I had written something that someone told me they found offensive - then I'd find another word next time - and try my best not to do it again. That's not really liberal fascism - is it? surely that's just politeness and being grown-up.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

clearly you were being too subtle for me!Lord Kangana wrote: Frankly I feel less of myself if you presume I'm the kind of poster who would use feeble minded phrases like Liberal Fascism. (in my defence - you did use the phrase that you hope nobody would think you would use - on its own - with no attendant explanation for those of us that might miss its hidden deep-layered ironic subtlety!)

Re: Boyata Signs
Knock it off with calling Bish and Bobo names, LL.
Bish is a better person then you will ever be, he's one of the nicest people i know, and in my dealings with Bobo i have found him to be lovely too. Neither are deserving of your pathetic insults.
It is not unreasonable of them to request what they did, so don't get all arsey with them and start name calling. Act like an adult for once and accept you are wrong.

Whilst we're on this, I find the mere mention of the words Arsene, Wenger, Arsenal quite distressing. Can members please respect this and never use them again please!

Bring back memories of too many thrashings at the hands of the mighty Gooners eh?! Go off and lie in a darkened room for a while, you'll feel better soon. Re: Boyata Signs
I can't remember the last time you thrashed us.
Probably when you were still at your proper ground, as opposed to that monolith you call a stadium these days...
In fact, when did you last thrash anyone? I can't remember, but I do remember two wins in 14 Premier League games.....

Didnt arsenal leather us at their arabic stadium last season after a dubious sending off of a key and much sought after defender that arsenal wanted but couldnt afford?

Ah yes, but you see I don't count a game against 10 men as a thrashing.
8-2 is a thrashing......

CAPS buys them from the sweet shop - they have a magazine, a little plastic toy, some sweeties - and (if he's lucky) - some stickers (his gran gives him the money on a Friday - it's about now he starts getting excited). they're both amazing and great!Gooner Girl wrote:Erm, what is there to say about them?CAPSLOCK wrote:

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
