I'd always happily comply with an expectation that if I had written something that someone told me they found offensive - then I'd find another word next time - and try my best not to do it again. That's not really liberal fascism - is it? surely that's just politeness and being grown-up.

Frankly I feel less of myself if you presume I'm the kind of poster who would use feeble minded phrases like Liberal Fascism. It was intended to highlight the piousness of those who wish people to comply with their wishes, but would not extend the reciprocal courtesy to others.

clearly you were being too subtle for me! (in which case I apologise!) I'm not sure I have seen anyone in this discussion piously asking for a courtesy they would not reciprocally offer to others. have you?
