after watching his inept and toothless display against his old buddies on saturday, the article is particularly amusing/sickening (delete as appropriate).

As a bloke said to me in the queue at half time, we'd have been better off keeping Taylor, if this is all Eagles can do!

Absolutely, and still think he is better in a more "free" role rather than constrained to a wing!

Given that Taylor was sold for not being Coyle's type of winger he is a bit of a strange buy, given that he's not fast and can't beat a man.

He did link up with Klasnic a couple of times against City though, in some of the very few bits of creative play we've attempted since Muamba scored on the opening day. He'd be a lot better with more movement around him. Also, in as much as playing behind Petrov makes Robbo look a lot worse, I don't think Eagles having to play infront of a centre-half on Saturday did him any favours.

I suppose at the end of the day he's our second choice in his position by a mile, and so for him to be a decent Premier League player is about all we can ask for. I think he'll prove to be that.

Steady on! Surely you don't mean that? Wilhelmsson? We are doomed.

I really can't believe the over reaction to this defeat. We've just played probably the 2nd best team in the world (including international sides) that have spent £200m+ assembling their side and we get tonked, its hardly surprising is it? We actually had more shots on goal than they did and I thought in the last 20 minutes we're okay. If we're getting rolled over by the likes of Norwich then I could understand, ffs get a grip!

It’s going to be difficult playing against them, because I still care for United
He wouldn't dare say that, would he?

Coyle wants shooting if he did!

I realise I'm weeks behind this conversation since I was on holiday, but Taylor had much more to contribute than Eagles and is a stupid swap...

I really wanted someone to say that yes, this was the article where Eagles dares.
