I write an Arsenal blog, TommyGun, and have recently started a new feature where I ask a supporter of the away team to write a match preview from your club's perspective. It's effectively a Q&A and the idea is that it's more interesting as it presents your views rather than the standard 'fan-previewing-his-own-team-again' preview.
I did this for the Shrewsbury Town match and had the STFC Fanzine contribute - you can see the link here so you have some idea of what I mean: http://tommygunafc.wordpress.com/2011/0 ... n-preview/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;![]()

- What’s the mood among Bolton fans heading to London? better than it would have been before we beat Villa. The mood will still essentially be resignation and anticipation of defeat - but in the back pocket will be that irritating bit of lumpy hope that always ruins everything.
- What has Owen Coyle done for the club since his arrival? The aqueduct.... And the sanitation! And the roads.. Irrigation... Medicine... Education... Health...And the wine... yes, WINE! And it's safe to walk in the streets at night now. oh... and he's brought Peace. AIN'T THAT MY DEPARTMENT THERE BISH?
- How do you feel about your start to the season so far? We expected it to be a bit crap - and it lived up to expectations.
- What game-plan can we expect Bolton to adopt? We haven't got the faintest idea. Coyle has stubbornly stuck with 4-4-2 but intriguingly shuffled the formation in the cup.
- What weaknesses will Bolton try to exploit? general Arsenal girlishness - and I'd expect a lot of crosses into the box - if we can get the ball.
- Who do you think holds the key for Bolton? We have several keyholders, but we tend to use a combination lock now. the combination is 4-2-3-1
- Who will Bolton be most concerned about? Paul Robinson
- To what extent does Arsenal’s recent form give an added sense of optimism? to a limited extent - but we know we have a team capable of reversing any bad run of form the opposition might have...
- What have we missed by not signing Gary Cahill? the plot - entirely!
- What would a positive result do for the team? It might get you out of the bottom four... oh - did you mean us?
- How do you expect it to go? badly
- Anything else we should know? yeah - Wenger is a tosser.

Thanks a lot and I hope you enjoy your trip to the Emirates (although not too much!)
Many thanks,

Keep 'em coming...!
(... and is Zat Knight really that bad?)
he wouldn't look that bad to an arsenal fan....

Is van Persie playing?

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.
