Great series that.

I doubt if any England player would have begrudged it him, although it didn't affect their efforts to get him out. Great rock in Indian cricket and I hope he gets that elusive ton soon. The whole England team have been tigers right through the series, with the emphasis on "team" . Fought for every ball in the field and the batting and bowling has been phenomenal. Undisputed No 1 now and fully deserved. Today belonged to Swann.

Make yer bloody mind up.

Is your second post an anti-publicity post, to stop the begging letters?

Anyhoo.

Great series win.

Quite disappointed that Tendulkar didn't get his century of centuries to be honest. For purely selfish reasons, after all we'd already wrapped the series up, and the worst that could've happened was a draw.

As it is, that Mishra looks the business, and his partnership with Tendulkar was eye-catching.

Not bad for fifteen sheets. In the posh seats too.

We'd have had to bat again if he'd got another 9 runs....

Wouldn't have been half as impressive only winning by 10 wickets.

Well yeah.

But I was kinda hoping we did, and then my off peak train ticket wouldn't have to have been on-peaked.

Not that I was having a cheapskate day, you understand.

Don't sweat it. Most of the England team only had off peak's too, that's why they wrapped it up.

Still a bit baffled by India's decision not to use the review system on lbw calls. Okay, it's showing trust in the umpires to get it right, but where's the logic, with technology available, not to be sure? Were they hoping to influence decisions by appealing for everything or what? The system works the same for both sides so why not use it?
