I had a ginger filter on by default.

They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

Question Time.
I don't know why I do it to myself. They're all carping at each other, and no-one has an answer thats worth the breath that bore it.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

The Full Monty. Still looking for good examples for my dramatic structure module. This one pretty good, and may well go on the list.

I loved it - but plenty hated... both responses totally understandable. As would be indifference.General Mannerheim wrote:im halfway through this 'Tree of Life' ive had to come on here for a break as im bored shitless of it. i can totally tell why it won so much praise, and i loved the Discovery channel bit, but its just sooo achingly slow!

I didnt hate it, I enjoyed it as a whole, superb acting, just too slow going for me.
It's quite affecting tho, still playing on my mind a bit this morning!

I love the beeb, and I'm not ashamed to say it. Fry's language programme tonight was wonderful. And I learnt that the UN has 6 languages. Brilliant.

Best action film ever
Re: What are you watching tonight?
They're not even arsed about cutting bits out of it anymore like they used to! I remember watching it once on ITV years ago, there was virtually no blood and all the swearing was fuzzed out as well!Lofthouse Lower wrote:Best action film ever

Watched that program about Apache and Chinook pilots in Afghanistan. I bet back in the 70's when they were designing Hellfire missiles to be destroying Soviet tanks they didnt think that a few years down the line theyd be being used to pick off individual men, thats one costly tactic!
