We've never actually been told what the injury was/is.

My suspicion is we shouldn't bank on him contributing much this season, if he does then that's a bonus. To be honest think this whole 'we need Stuart back' thing is becoming a convenient excuse. We have more than good enough players now to cover there, as opposed to last season when we didn't.

No doubt it's a massive blow like. We don't know the details, I hope to God weve handled it properly though and haven't taken risks!

I bet in his entire time with us we've only had him properly fit and firing for 3-4 months at best.

Me. I make sure my mum or dad lifts me in and out of trolleys thus avoiding injury. It's quite clear Stuart has been let down by his family. They sicken me.

Bit harsh. Thought it was his knee that was the problem, not his testicles.

Well your new topic didn't have enough content in it so I rated it 1/10 and merged it.

Thinking about this I'm not too devastated, I would rather have a fully fit Stu Holden for the last half of the season than a 70% one who keeps on getting injured.

+20.

(thats 20 x +1, which we don't do on here).

I seriously wonder if we actually have a medical team at BWFC, and if we do, if they're any more qualified than a group of chimps. I mean, he's been out for ages and now he's out for another 6 weeks? Sean Davis has been out for about 45 years, surely he must overtake Darren Anderton? As for Sam Ricketts, does he even exist any more? We never had these injury problems under Allardyce, the only one I can really remember is Ricardo Gardner's knee and at least he made a recovery!

I'm fairly confident Holden's getting some of the best medical help available.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

Our medical dept do seem on a par with arsenals!

Wihout knowing the facts and going face value on what we've been told, I don't think you can blame the medical staff. I'm guessing it was always a case of bring him back and see if he can get through till the summer before the second op. Clearly he can't. Can understand why they'd want a look see mind.

I thought the way his return was phased in and scheduled was a little odd and they always seemed to downplay it a bit. Probably because they knew he was being tested rather than 100% back!

Perhaps testing it in games was a part of the treatment process.

Probably only from a build up of training and games could they tell how the knee was going to react!

i'm no knee specialist but questions surely have to be asked as to why he's been playing before this op? whole thing doesn't add up.
