For anyone wishing to make their own minds up about whether we should keep doing the songs or not, we've put a dedicated section on the website for our musical bits... featuring the classic 'We can Do Without Elmander' and the immortal 'Walking Down the Manny Road to see the Massive Asda'.

I'm not a big fan of football podcasts, so I have to admit I've never listened to yours before.

The music piqued my interest though, so I had a listen and that Manny Road stuff was very good!

So I ploughed on and listened to the podcast... certainly not bad, but still probably not for me, probably for much the same reason that most talk radio isn't.

Cheers for the feedback, MWCIEC.

The reason we've done the music page is so people like you can jump straight to the non-talky bits if they like. Nip back from time to time and there will be more songs added. Hope you like them!

I've been dabbling a bit, but I don't really 'get' podcasts
Some of the songs were quite funny though.

I sang 'all the lads and lasses, with slightly maudlin faces, walkin down the Manny Road, to see the massive Asda', less capably, of course.

He enjoyed it.

Ultimately if you enjoy doing them then keep doing it regardless, if you ever stop enjoying it then don't, no-one else is doing it and you seem to be getting at least a decent number of listeners.

Maybe get me on the phone for some expert analysis though, I have a Leigh accent and everything :D

Fancy some distraction from the Holden news / our recent run of results / the long term injuries / our upcoming game against Chelsea?

We've done a new podcast. http://bit.ly/qZavoI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And one frequent The-Wanderer poster gets a special thanks at the end...

Happy Birthday! (we knew that of course...that's what we were doing....saving the song until your birthday...that's what it was... :wink: )

Glad you liked it. You didn't half choose a difficult song to parody though! Haven't been able to talk for the last 24 hours...
