No anyone not gay would have probably spent about 6 years, not 6 weeks.Gooner Girl wrote:i hope not, given he's married to me...Worthy4England wrote:6 WEEKS???? Is he gay?Gooner Girl wrote:Humph! Having said that, hubby takes pride in the fact that he spent every night for 6 weeks in the pub at about that age... Hmmmm... Hopefully will follow in his mothers footsteps instead...![]()
Why, do only gay people go to the pub every night?! Theres not a lot else to do in our village tbh.
Make your mind up. Either NOT going to the pub is gay, according to Gary but going lots is also gay?!
Men are weird.

Think he was a bit after that Gary. Canon Birch, Father O'Mahony, Father McGlyyn, Father Brown, Father Rogers (he was a visiting fire and brimstone Jesuit I was well glad to see the back of) then Fitzpatrick, Culkin, etc. Seven years an altarboy I got told off by them all at one time or another. Almost got excommunicated when I went to Bolton Tech instead of Thornleigh. Happy days.Gary the Enfield wrote: Was Father Culkin there then?

Culkin and Jones were my era. Culkin just seemed to have been around forever. I believe he's still around the area too. The 'orrible sod.

Excellent!
When Mrs. G. was preggers we were told not to ask for the gender as they would not tell us. (We didn't want to know anyway).
Apparently it is the policy of Enfield and Haringey NHS trust not to disclose gender as too many people were choosing to abort if the sex of the child was not what they wanted.

We found out the twins sexes. I had Jess on my left and Jack on my right (i wanted to know, am hopeless at surprises and made planning for two easier) we managed to avoid telling anyone else though, however i think bish found out that one of them at least was a girl when he was helping me put the flat pack furniture together... If you ever need any help making flat pack cots, Bish is your man

Alternatively, hold two pint glasses to your eyes (as you would with binoculars) and look at a frozen chicken through them.
Works in Liverpool apparently.
Empty the glasses first.
