It's more the "soup size lottery".

There's always a silver ligning somewhere and with stats you can prove anythingBruce Rioja wrote:And against non top 6 sides, this season we're averaging 1.5, so go and boil your headFaninOz wrote:Fans would normally be baying for the blood of almost any other Bolton Manager with the record Coyle has over the last 18 league games ( W4 D0 L14 Pts12 average 0.67), including the worst home losing streak on record. At this rate we will have 26pts come the end of the season and to get to 40 we need an average of 1.2 over the rest of the season, and given that it is unlikely that we will get anything against the top 6 teams that leaves an average of around 1.4 from the rest of the league.

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

It is the greatest motivational speech ever! Forget 'fight 'em on the beaches' or 'once more unto the breach dear friends...' or 'we'll set aboot ye' little David Essex rallies the troop with a classic bit of rhetoric.Whookam wrote:I thought I'd gone mad then, I was just listening to WotWcoffeymagic wrote:
Wooosh! With OUR heat-rays! Wooosh! With them running and dying? Beaten at their own game! MAN ON TOP AGAIN!!!!!!
If that had been Megson in charge he'd have said 'Let's sit back, see what the Martians want, see what they can do and hopefully we might not get sprayed across a field as human fertiliser. We are not Real Madrid.'
Remember that when you start thinking 'Coyle out!'
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

We only conceeded 2 for starters! and scored ourselves.
We played ok ish, SKD was left out
Re: owen out
of course - it may be heavily outweighed by the (poor) quality of the opposition - but I'm certainly hoping that Coyle noticed the attacking threat of having Ngog and Klasnic on the field as compared with anyone partnered with KD...Worthy4England wrote:Which ones would they be? I'm also hoping he spotted the superiority of ricardo over Robbo
I'm also hoping he noticed that the Moo was a darn sight solider than anything else he has tried this season...
I'm also hoping he noticed that Petrov wasn't missed.
that's be four plusses - how many do you want!!

Those 4 would be great. I'd settle for them.thebish wrote:of course - it may be heavily outweighed by the (poor) quality of the opposition - but I'm certainly hoping that Coyle noticed the attacking threat of having Ngog and Klasnic on the field as compared with anyone partnered with KD...Worthy4England wrote:Which ones would they be? Re: owen out
That has been bugging me. As dangerous as we looked, the combined age of that Arsenal team was about twelve, and all the senior players, Vermaelan aside, are shit.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Bish- I've been saying the KD thing since last season. We could have tried Elmander and Sturridge together then. If it takes the worst run of home form in our clubs history for Coyle to even start considering these kinds of things, then what does that say about him?

you say that as if you were some kind of prophet-seer - a voice crying in the wilderness!BWFC_Insane wrote:Bish- I've been saying the KD thing since last season.
