feck, I just had a flashback to the moment when Riley appeared from nowhere at fecking left back and put in a glorious sliding tackle on some bemused Stoke player. Glorious. What a debut.

Excellent team performance, don't think jussi had a save to make. reo coker and muamba worked well together which gave m.davies a licence to thrill, eagles looks like he his finding his feet in the prem looks fitter by the game and has got fantastic ability on the ball. Klasnic is lethal in front of goal and would always be 1st choice for me up top, riley fitted in perfect and his tackling and passing were excellent and most important his positioning so he must be a regular now and i was impressed with everyone's efforts to track back and win back the ball. I thought 5-0 flattered stoke but that's a good way to get the goal difference down more of the same at west brom please

Excellent performance.. Line up, formation, shape.. Everything spot on.

Every player played well.. We've certainly missed Muamba's endeavour in the middle of the park, and for all of the stick he gets about his passing, his ball retention is infinitely better than Pratley's.

Eagles as an inverted winger was a good move, but I wouldn't do that in a 442 with 2 out and out wingers, which was why playing Mark Davies on the right was perfect. Almost looked like a 433 at times and completely outfoxed Stoke.

Coyle has (rightly) had his tactical nouse questioned recently, but today he showed he's capable.

Don't know if anyone noticed but one added sweet touch was that we had 9 English players out on the pitch, only Klasnic and Jussi as the foreigners. The way the league is these days, that's some good going.

What a difference a week makes.

That performance has been in waiting. I just hope we have now exorcised our demons and can push on.

Credit to Coyle for being wise enough to play Eagles on the left from the start, ripped Huth to bits time and time again.
Davies. Instrumental today. Held it up. Got stuck in and was quick with Klasnic to get his goal.
I think everything has been said about Riley, great debut. Long may it continue.
I think the difference today was the mix up of play. Down the right, left, middle and over the top.
Every player earned the plaudits today, even Paul Robinsson, who started nervous but grew into the game as it went on.

Once the 3rd goal went in the team turned into a monster wanting more and more.
16 shots on target and the lions share of possesion. I think Jussi could have got on the score sheet had we played for longer.

Wasn't expecting 5 but its great medicine for the result last season.

Id swap5-0s i have to be honest, but hopefully, hopefully we've banished some demons there. To a man absolute commitment and effort. All you can ask for.

If Coyle ever plays a 442 with centre mids other than holden, nige and /or muamba he wants a shake! Midfield was where it was won today, but the defence answered ever question asked as well. Wheater was superb. Proved he is 10 times tge man of knight.

Klasnic was immense up front as well, at the heart of everything with eagles who was also superb. How many miles did the pair of them cover?

Kev was good, especially second half. great header for the third.

Riley was good but hope people dont get carried away, he might of signed steinssons p45 today but he aint the finished article yet. Played excellent like, whipped in some good balls and made some hearty tackles.

Mannerheim Jnr made her first BWFC match appearance today. she isnt even 2 yet so i was prepared to spend the game running round the concourse after her and didnt expect to be missing much anyway, but she sat through it, cheered, clapped and but had a really good time. was ace!

i wasnt concentrating as much as i might, but then again i wasnt as pissed as usual either. im sure its been said but massively impressed with Riley, and that might be the best ive ever seem Muamba in a wanders shirt! great day! onwards and upwards.

I was livid when I saw that line up. KD and Klasnic up front - what was he thinking?

More fool me - great team selection and set up from Coyle. Muamba and NRC brilliant in the middle, Eagles and M Davies brilliant out wide. Difficult to pick a man of the match for that since I couldn't choose between the outstanding debutant Riley, brace bagger Eagles, and the great Ivan who had a hand in 4 goals today.

KD a different player today. Spectacular run from Robbo and an assist for Klasnic's first.

Great to hear the OC chants at the end of the game led by BWFCi.

Ratface and his cap suitably dispatched.

Strange place to grow a pair, but I guess it takes all sorts.

Good win today, and delighted with it, but I'm not hugely surprised that it took changing back to Moo/NRC to give us some sort of platform to build from.

That it's taken 10 games to work it out, isn't too good. I hope OC noticed that we looked a bit better today...

Lovely, lovely, lovely.

It doesn't nullify the semi-final, but it goes some way toward it and it was a very strong response in a game that ... had it gone badly ... could have seen OC gone.

Only consistency will make this mean anything long-term and it's a shame we couldn't have done this 2 weeks ago & stopped the panic.

VG performance from Eagles. Utterly delighted to see Muamba start ... and play so well. Riley ... an excellent debut, now let's not all pile too much expectation on him. But nice to see.

All in all a great afternoon & certainly not what I arrived expecting.
