He'd struggle to, Eaves has been injured since the end of July.Sponge wrote:Let's be honest, loud mouth probably hasn't seen him play either.Gail Platz wrote:Not seen him play but someone on the coach on the way back from Swansea was saying Tom Eaves is a shockingly bad player, just a slow lump up front that doesn't do anything. Anyone got any more info on him?

Isn't Blakeman a left back?TKIZ! wrote:Can Bennett play Left Back?truewhite15 wrote:Adam Blakeman, Tom Eaves and Rhys Bennett are, by all accounts, closest to breaking through at the minute. Bennett was, last I heard, doing rather well with Falkirk.

Re: Our Youth System
The last time we blooded two young full backs of our own, it was Mike Graham and David Burke
The looked like world beaters
Both went on to have decent careers, but neither were what you'd want to play regular in the BPL

Or have I just made that memory up?

Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham
Re: Our Youth System
I'm sure that is where he played in the Macclesfield match and thats all I've seen of him. Looked decent from what I recall.TKIZ! wrote:Don't know, if he is, is he any good?LiOC wrote:Isn't Blakeman a left back?TKIZ! wrote:Can Bennett play Left Back?truewhite15 wrote:Adam Blakeman, Tom Eaves and Rhys Bennett are, by all accounts, closest to breaking through at the minute. Burke 78 - 82 - 69 appearances - and then he went to Huddersfield - [wiki]CAPSLOCK wrote:Burke and Graham would have debuted around 1979
I'm sure it was him and the apps would sort of fit..

Re: Our Youth System
Eaves look's a very good prospect for us, and can finish with both feet.
