Watched Milk last night. Was really impressed. One of Sean Penn's finest performances imo

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Can't believe i didn't see it... gong on the LF list...
Watched 'Kolya' last night... Czech, subtitles... A sort-of tug-of-love story with Eastern European political edges as man marries Russian woman for money and she exits leaving him with her five year old son...
Solid three star film, premise better than outcome, but moving moments and a little comedy and some mildly uplifting docu moments of the Velvet Revolution in Prague... Good enough...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
just watched "The Hole" with the kids - now my daughter is reluctant to go out in the dark to the garage to get summat out of a dusty old box next to the trapdoor....

Is that the one where Keira Knightly gets 'them' out?

no! she's not in it!Prufrock wrote:Is that the one where Keira Knightly gets 'them' out?
this one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1085779/
or were you referring to Masterchef in the previous post?

(this one has mostly kids in it - though it does feature lines such as the girl next door proclaiming "I can think of much better things to do than come to play with your hole in your basement") - and without a knowing wink....

I thought you meant this one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0242527/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Flaw on More4.
Superb, if you can, watch it on 4OD or something. It will open your eyes and boggle your mind.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Caught it on ITV3. Would agree that Rose comes across as a right calculatig psycho. Thought most of it was pretty well played out to be honest, Emily Watson was excellent too.General Mannerheim wrote:on Dave!? yeah was brilliant - the Rose character is chilling.Worthy4England wrote:Been watching Appropriate Adult which as been quite engaging.
