not really - unless he knows the individual circumstances of the people he is referring to - such an assertion would represent enviable visionary pansophy!

I'm sure he means to be a nob though.

Not sure what he is right about, other than 'if you have an opportunity to buy a thing for a while but by the time you get round to buying the thing it is sold out, that's your own fault', which is an insight of spectacular visionary importance, and we should probably let everyone know immediately. If, as it seems, he was making some super fan point about how ace he is buying tickets even when we are shit, then he seems to be inferring something which means unfortunately, and, it must be stressed, against his own wishes, that he is in fact 'being a nob'. The problem with superfan-dom is there is always somebody else willing to spend more money, and give up more important things, and that following that road normally leads to you being a fat joke of an alcoholic with a penchant for taking off your top and making a tit of yourself.

So yeah, score one for Gail.

I'm not sure that Gail Platz was giving it the old 'I'm a superfan' shite.. I just think that he was pointing out the fact that a lot of our fans are fickle. He's right.. A lot of the ticket buyers probably DID think 'Shit we leathered Stoke.. We're not rubbish anymore, so I'll go back to supporting them'

They didn't go on open sale until Tuesday anyway so a lot of people wouldn't have had the opportunity to buy before then so you really have little measurement of who is a fickle fan and who is a super fan really...

So we've got 1200 ST holders going and 1400 non ST holders going?

I doubt that

Was just pointing it out. It wasn't like season ticket holders had acres of time beforehand to buy their tickets either...and I've never even taken advantage of my early purchase priveledges I don't think.

We may not have sold out by now, but at those prices I can't imagine we'd be only taking a few if we had lost to Stoke.
