What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Never had the pleasure (and now never will). Had an Italian friend and colleague in London who used to go to all Joe Strummer's concerts that he could go to. Used to worship him. Said he played some of the old Clash numbers with such passion.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I bought Danzig 3 How the Gods Kill.

Was tempted to get Some Slayer but I didn't: Because: the Cover art was too great (and there was a blasted warning printed on it)

There was a Printed warning on the Danzig (same record c***pany) but I didn't seem to care.

I found out that there is a Non-Deluxe edition of the new Deicide album for sale somewhere.
I don't want the Deluxe ed. because it's bloody cardboard. Boooooooooooo!
(the non-deluxe is plastic cd cover!)

Anyone here into Elbow? A few years ago I bought a couple of their albums, Cast of Thousands and Asleep in the Back on the strength of hearing Fugitive Motel. I mustn't have been impressed first time around cos I shoved him a rack somewhere and forgot about em.

I've just dragged them out again now for another listen. They any good?

I'm going to order a US Version, making sure there is no Warning label!
The Album in Question was South of Heaven , because I got told to get earlier Slayer

My partner the other day Suggested Slayer and Pantera . Because it's not as bad / evil as the crap I like! / Buy

Reign in Blood is far, far better. The double kick drum on Angel of Death is awesome.

Double Kick Drum!!!?

At the Market I got my first ever....: Three Sepultura Albums!

Got some other stuff, one was Grinspoon - guide to Better living for $2 *

at the end I went back to a place to get the Prodigy Breathe Single (for the Live Poison Track.)
But I instead found Crass!! Never heard them though. Went back and showed someone, he may have been jealous.

* I asked the stall man if he had any Heavy Metal and he said not much, went on to say it's great music it wakes you up.
I told him I played some Venom earlier in the morning.
He said he had/did/something some in the 80s. I said 'ah you owned a record?' he said no: I had a record label and released it (a Venom Record) in Australia. He said he also released Metallica! (first few Albums) But then Polygram paid Metallica $5,000,000 to be able to release it.

Back on track now, apparently and the original line up back together. Should be, er, fun?

Downloaded the new one from Kate's Bush ... "50 Words For Snow". Well, there are 50 words for this & most of them are not pleasant.

It's been a few years since her last one ... & it shows.

If I wanted to listen to someone playing the piano, slowly & dolefully for the best part of an hour I'd tape myself and play it back at about 25% time.

Kate, pet ..... c'mon.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
