What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Have just set 'Series Record' to record Film 4's British Connection series. Tonight's is Franklyn.

Secret Millionaire.

Genuinely uplifting episode.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I watched An Inconvenient Truth.

Al Gore makes the most powerful case on global warming and how to dead with it I've ever seen.

Making science accessible and able serve humanity rather than simply wealthy corporations is a very good idea.

Excellent...

It is good, but I thought some of the conclusions had been shown to have been based on incomplete or miscalculated evidence?

Really?

I imagine a great deal of scientific evidence is incomplete, by definition... the research goes on... Einstein being refuted as we post...

But he had me convinced - and his conclusions were that we can deal with it, it's not too late if we have the will...

Hope it's not this bit being challenged...

Lovin this series but there are lots of little sub plots that occasionally go over my head  Who was the guy that got killed in the bogs with his fingers popping off and flowing down into the drain?

Mr Slater is/was an IRA enforcer, remember when he first pitched up, he was a bodyguard to some sinn fein politician visiting Nucky, and Nucky got him too stay. The guy in the bar was some Irish traitor, Mr Slater was following orders to 'take care' of him. i get a feeling Nucky is gonna enlist the IRA to sort out some of his problems too!

Watched that with Mr GG when overdue with the twins on our last visit to the cinema whilst we still had our freedom. Is indeed still our most recent trip to the cinema! Good film though.

Learned the sad news earlier today of Shelagh Delaney's passing.

Have ordered up A Taste of Honey from LF as it's years since I've seen it.

Agree on the last line. Also think that Jimmy's milf is gonna get smoked by the faux gangster that was porkin' her the other night. Jimmy's going to kill him and then join Nucky again to butcher the rest of 'em. Chalky Whites gone a bit quiet too. I'm expecting that KKK to come back soon...
