If I wanted to listen to someone playing the piano, slowly & dolefully for the best part of an hour I'd tape myself and play it back at about 25% time.
Kate, pet ..... c'mon.

Really should have been No1.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

if you're interested - she's on Front Row on R4 tonight... maybe they will ask her!! (she's been in the news saying that the music industry - particularly ALBUMS - is dying a death...)bobo the clown wrote:I just did & it helped, but also made me wonder what had made her put out this new dirge.thebish wrote:bobo the clown wrote:Downloaded the new one from Kate's Bush ... Cast of Thousands is an excellent album, Harry. The new one, Build a Rocket Boys, is, for me, a terrible, terrible disappointment.

They're all cheap as chips on Amazon, so I bought them all for my M&D for christmas. Me, I haven't much of a clue about them apart from that throw those curtains wide business.

They tend to be more night-in-with-a-bottle-of-red rather than 'commute' stuff IMO, Harry. Their best album to date for me is The Seldom Seen Kid.Harry Genshaw wrote:Cheers Bruce, I'll take CoT in the car for tomorrows commute

Bought a S*** stereo for $20 at the op shop, tested it for loudness and it wasn't loud enough but I bought it anyway
Some asked about the Sepultura albuma I bought a while back, I'll look them later.
All I know i one is Roots of
and another is a non-Cavallera one
The ARCHGOAT CD was in the postbox today

Re: What are you playing tonight?
Yes, partner said we don't need a loud one anyway because we have a young child.
It does have a tape player though
No one else seems to like either ARCHGOAT or Taylor Swift
I am getting a cardboard covers 5 CD Boxset of The Pogues for Christmas.
They are touring here next year.

Re: What are you playing tonight?
today I was mostly listening to my stunning daughter singing for her performance exam at Loughton Rock School..
she sang:
"You make me feel like a natural woman" - Carole King
"Feeling Good" - Nina Simone
"Ironic" Natalie Imbruglia
