So assuming the FA protect Michael Oliver and uphold the ban, that's Zat Knight back into the first team for the next 3 games (at least)
I hate to say it but it was the right decision. It was an absolute loony challenge.

The challenge was reckless and warranted a red card. Off the floor studs showing.

No one in their right mind would appeal it.

^ ^^ and ^^^ Fair enough. I'm not watching, was only going off what the Sky boys and a few people off twitter (I know, probably the least two reliable things possible) were saying.

Wheater is an idiot then. Although he's never a right back, and he shouldn't be played there.

Yes, really clear cut. No mission of sustaining this level of defending for 90 minutes.

Steinsonn should be playing RB not Wheater, its a bad decision by Coyle

I think it is more than just form that is causing him to be dropped even when we are at this circumstances.

For all those screaming at Wheater, what exactly would you have done there, just let him go by? Flingittoff went airbourne like a Russian gymnast, screaming in agony, undertaker job,yet one minute later he's tearing down the pitch like Usein Bolt. Keep it in proportion, pissed wet through pitch and Wheater was unlucky. Ref was conned. Blame Coyle of course forpicking him.

Yeah, I'm not convinced it was a straight red either.

How was it not a straight red? He didn't have the ball, he lunged towards the ball with both feet in the air, one of which he had studs up that could have broken something...and he doesn't even get the ball.

I didn't wanna see us get a red, but that's what it was. He's just far too physical for the PL.

Here it comes.

2nd half syndrome.

Faster this time round though.

Laughable.
