What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Flashback to GCSE French. Johnny!

Really enjoyed it at the time. Must re-watch. Added that too! Is now La Lovefilm!

I prefer La Fille du RER myself.

Don't really like La Haine.

Have you seen Mic Macs yet? Add that if not (I'm sure I picked that up off the General off'ev here, like).

8) yeah Micmacs is good, classic JP Jeunet (Alien apart) but its no Delicatessen.

Watched 'Warrior' tonight, basically a modern day Rocky but set in a UFC Cage. loved it!

BBC1 at 9.

PFI's are a f*cking disgrace. Apparently the current lot are continuing to use them.

final episode of The Art of America - dealing with post-WW2. It's been an engaging series. And this ep had its moments (I liked the attempted rehab of Warhol). But nothing will ever convince me that Jeff Koons is worth a thimble of piss...

Ever since I found out my friend had leukemia, I've been having trouble sleeping, and gone all introspective and morbid about life, and death, and whatnot. The whole human condition thing. Decided to watch an episode of The Sopranos tonight, and it was the one where Carmela goes to Paris and becomes very introspective, articulating all the things I've been thinking about recently, the whole everything carrying on when you die, or people not existing until you see them things. Added to that she stands on the exact spot of the Pont D'Alexandre I mentioned just the other day in this thread. Really weird hour.

Tonight at 9.00 on BBC4 a doc on john Steinbeck... Been out of fashion for a while, but I can recognise this time as one where he might have something to say, and some might be prepared to listen.

A lovely humanist writer. Grapes of Wrath brilliant. (Great film too. Henry fonda brill ISTR).
