We can afford to leave NRC out of midfiled and have Petrov helping Robbo out? Wow.

Thought N'gog and Riley were injured (and Wheater out with 4 match ban). Holden and Boyata also still injured.
The side almost picks itself doesn't it?
• Jaaskelainen
• Robinson
• Cahill
• Knight
• Steinsson
• Muamba
• Eagles
• M Davies
• Reo-Coker
• Tuncay / or / Davies
• Klasnic

Doubt NRC will be fit, looked like a hamstring last week. Muamba also struggling with something during the game.

Bugger. That's one seriously depleted side, then. Needs a miracle.

Was it my imagination or did Eagles play on the left against Everton?

We'll need some wide players who are going to provide some kind of cover against the likes of Bale. I've only seen Riley in the flesh in a reserve game but I'm more than happy for Boyata to be right-back if fit. Would want a fairly defensive team away from home against a top 6-er, if we have even more injuries this one is going to be painful.

Latest Injury News: definitely no Riley, definitely no Holden. Boyata and N'gog uncertain if fit to return. Can't find anywhere that says Reo-Coker and Muamba are unfit.

I thought Reo Coker had cramp against Everton?

He's been playing on the left for a few games I think, with Mavies on the right?

Ahhh thankyou, and yes I think so. Then after the sending off SKD went onto the right with Mavies more central (NRC at RB). Not that I really noticed Mavies do much. I thought Eagles was one of our better players, I actually remember him doing something at least.

I'd forgotten about the new injuries

We would genuinely be better if we just didn't turn up - take the 3 or 4 nil defeat they deem it. We're on for a complete bumming otherwise, 5 or 6 nowt.

FFS,get in there and fight. I'd sooner see us losing 10-0 and fighting than not turning up. What chance did anybody give us on beating Arsenal at the end of last season,or of Cohen scoring the winner? Fight!

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
