Re: Time to go
It would be good to wake up in the morning switch the tv on and then put sky sports news on and see the yellow bar at the bottom saying owen coyle has been sacked!

Nothing could be worse than what we have
If he doesn't win at least one of the next 2 games, he's toast
Its indefensible

he's not even doing what megson did and sacking folk, its almost like he likes (or fears falling out with) the status quo.

Actually I'm quite happy, I was referring to the standard of our play!Bruce Rioja wrote:As opposed to what, exactly?BWFC_Insane wrote:Miserable again.

Think our Owens card will be marked well and truly now after Bruce's departure unless there really is a Santa Claus in his contract!

Agree with this...Hoboh wrote:Think our Owens card will be marked well and truly now after Bruce's departure unless there really is a Santa Claus in his contract!
1) The smell of sackings is in the air; and
2) There is now a replacement available.
I'm not screaming for him to go. Very bad luck with injuries, etc. From my armchair it seems like we just need someone to be bit serious and put the ping pong away for a while until we're out of trouble, not sure OC can do that.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I'm actually not that arsed anymore - hate to say it but I'm loosing interest fast
Its as bad if not worse than it was under the previous manager, but because its Coyle no one wants to go over the top with
criticism etc....its actually apathy that's set in now with most fans, who are going out of sheer loyalty expecting the worst every game, and I also think that many are already almost resigned to relegation this year - the whole set up manager, coaching staff & players are just not good enough.

Nope. Not ever.
I'm constantly disappointed, but only after the last ball's kicked.
Re: Time to go
I'm nowhere near resigned to relegation yet! FFS - we've been in worse scrapes than this!

There's 25 games left FFS.

Re: Time to go
And based on the fact we've lost something like 14 games out of the last 17, with no draws for almost 12 months.Wandering Willy wrote:There's 25 games left FFS.
So therefore out of these 25 remaining games of which we have to play Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, L/Pool again - that's 5 games and Spurs twice (7 games). So out of the remaining 18 so called 'winnable' games we need to win 9 (every 1 in 2), just to get to 36 points which may not be enough.

(and - don't be daft - there are 25 games - not 18 "winnable" games)
my not giving up is not based on us being ace - but on the possibility that three teams are even shite-er than us...

You probably didn't need to tell us that bit.thebish wrote:my not giving up is not based on us being ace - but on the possibility that three teams are even shite-er than us...
We'd have probably worked it out.
Re: Time to go
Peter hadn't... if he had - then he'd have known that listing our games and speculating which are "winnable" is irrelevant!Worthy4England wrote:You probably didn't need to tell us that bit.thebish wrote:my not giving up is not based on us being ace - but on the possibility that three teams are even shite-er than us...
