I've no idea what I'm eating tonight as it's our Christmas do, and I was asked in October what I'd like to eat tonight but have forgotten what I selected!

Shouldn't worry it will all taste shite, bland and unimaginative unless you have a very generous boss.....Bruce Rioja wrote:I've no idea what I'm eating tonight as it's our Christmas do, and I was asked in October what I'd like to eat tonight but have forgotten what I selected!

I've had something loosely based on kedgeree tonight - with an Marsanne/Roussanne from that there Asda. OK, so the rice was overcooked, but it tasted pretty good to me.

More of this. Still on offer. Still pretty good.Lord Kangana wrote:Yali Three Lagoons Gran Reserva Pinot Noir. From Chille. On offer at Sainsbury(')s(') for £7.99 (down from over a tenner). Well worth it. And very nice with a bit of chilli chocolate. Not on offer, also from Sainsbury(')s(').
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
A friend gave me a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape six months ago... Formerly a fave wine, I haven't done this kind of red for a good while... and have (almost) given up the red meats i used to match it with...
But tonight I had a takeaway - not bad - chicken dopiaza... The wine worked very, very well with it... Partner and I appreciated (she had a king prawn curry, doesn't eat meat at all)...
Appreciation helped by 6.00pm Cosmopolitan... this has been a tough working week for both of us... and tough in personal ways also...
Alcohol helped...

Unfortunately, I'm pretty certain that William is a committed atheist GG.

I'm confused at a king prawn curry eater not eating meant at all
?

Caps can you explain, if it's not Nam Ploy anymore what is it now?CAPSLOCK wrote:The place that was NamPloy for a week or two and is now something else, is feeding me tonight
It can't have changed hands already surely?
Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
I'm guessing its changed its name, not ownership
It's still Thai
Maybe Nam Ploy means Happy Eater or something
Dunno if its linked to the other one

Was actually pretty good, although the salmon was pink, not red. We were over at The Dunkenhalgh - The pre drive-to-London breakfast this morning was sent by GodBWFC_Insane wrote:Shouldn't worry it will all taste shite, bland and unimaginative unless you have a very generous boss.....Bruce Rioja wrote:I've no idea what I'm eating tonight as it's our Christmas do, and I was asked in October what I'd like to eat tonight but have forgotten what I selected!
