The problem we have is that the fans aren't calling for coyle's head, there booing the team but not making there feelings known to coyle or the board. Its like a slow and painful death!

two of the most likely players to get a red are now on a yellow, get one of them off, put davis in centre and bring on eagles

Coyle won't be sacked after today.. With Blackburn coming up on Tuesday that has to be his last game if we don't win..

Have faith. OC will turn it round with one of his special half-time speeches to inspire...

in a couple of instances we showed that we can knock it about and get past defences with quick incisive passing and good movement.

Sadly for the other 43 minutes we were very poor.

Gartside said coyle is long term so we'll just have to put up with losing every week. This month would of been the perfect time to get a new manager in to access the squad and then he has jan to get some new players in, its no good getting a new manager in after jan but gartside is happy with coyle so thats that.

Is there anything that can be said by Coyle that can motivate a win? Are our players just too poor, and devoid of quality? (Minus a couple)

I think the players need just as much stick as OC. You look at Andy J, Demeble Ruiz they are all working so hard up and down the field. Klasnic Davis etc nothing. Long ball to them, they lose it o well!!!! N'gog on for Davies. Eagles and Petrov on for Moo and Pratley.

No more justification for how badly we're doing. Mix and matching the teamsheets each week is doing us no favours. I bet the players in the team are questioning the mentality of having two central midfielders on the wing whilst Petrov and Eagles are benched. Any of the fans would've made that decision?

He's probably weeping in the changing room – he's done for as a manager. (And to think – twelve monrths ago he was being touted as Wenger's replacement!)
