Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Went with Son & Partner and me Mum to carols / Fireworks

wasn't myself going to go but am glad I did.

Perfect spot for the Fireworks, some were directly above!

Early Christmas present from daughter yesterday. First surprise was a meal at Alberts on Barlow Moor Road in Didsbury. Excellent food.

Second surprise, she had bought tickets to Wizard of Oz at the Octagon, her first visit there.

If you have any intentions of taking in a panto this year, make it somewhere else. Dorothy is very poor. Great singing voice but as soon as she started to talk she was awful. Shouted almost everything in a very strident voice. Very poor acting from her too. Apart from Dorothy the rest of the cast were fine. but she was really poor.

Even so, good day out that we all really enjoyed.

Yes, it is. Same good atmosphere and classy lighting inside. Lovely place to dine. been to both now and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

So, Eric .... not a friend of Dorothy's then ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Have you done the Three Fishes aswell Bruce?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Don't know that one, jaffka.

Clog and Billycock at Pleasington's meant to be worth the effort too, I believe.

Tonight I'm mainly going to the local. I've booked the table next to the fire, where me and my dog'll partake of Pie Night while I'll be drinking gallons of BG Sips to while away the two hours between opening and kick-off. The Landlord has promised to 'interview' all strangers and will direct plastic-Mancs and Blackburn fans towards the freezing corner with limited view of the big (actually quite small) screen. Marvellous. Well, when I say marvellous, the contemplation of it is marvellous, but no doubt the actual enjoyment of it will be short lived.
