I would appreciate texts from those who have my number but only if we are winning. The same rules apply as for last Saturday. If Fabrice Muamba scores the winning goal I will do a lap of honour, topless around the aforementioned Indian Restaurant.
Photos will be posted as proof.
That is all.
Can't change the rules now. Muamba or bust.

I've put Reo-Coker in front of the back four. Our only chance to win tonight is if we don't concede. If you watch all of our games back (watched every one twice so far this year, which has incidentally been one of the most painful experiences of my life) our midfield is the #1 weak point in our team and is where we're really losing all of the on pitch battles. We simply don't win possession in the middle of the pitch, and seem to lose it the most when playing up to a target man, almost always Kevin Davies, whos ball retention has been piss-poor as we all know. As much as people talk about our defense being shit, our midfield are offering them NO protection at all. It's no co-incidence that the two players we're missing most are midfielders. LCY for his runs and his neat through-balls, and Holden for his terrier-like pressure and eye for a pass. Shit, even Muamba alongside Holden would be like having a new player back. I imagine everyone saw the season stats at Christmas during 2010/11... Holden and Muamba were dominating in the middle.
You could perhaps switch out Alonso for Robinson. Robinson has more heart and a bigger set of plums on him, but I can see them putting some pace on the wings and Robinson won't keep up with them. If things look shakey we can always bring him on, even if it's before half time. We simply can't afford to go behind at all.
Every single team we've faced this season has been able to strut through the entirety of our midfield this season with ease, playing the ball wide against our fairly weak full backs, and spray crosses into the area our centre backs occupy, exploiting yet another weakness of ours this season. The left and right midfielders need to told to drop back much earlier than the two centre-mids, leaving NRK to deal with anything that gets in front of the defenders. I'd rather teams come right at us than down the flanks at the moment, as that's the biggest worry for me. I'd make NRK captain and leave it that way until the end of the season, it'd get him fired up and I reckon that'd have a knock-on effect. Let's face it, none of them lot are going to argue when Reo-Coker tells them to do something.
We all know that Eagles/Petrov aren't good at sticking a boot in and making a tackle, but they can contribute immensely by simply being in the faces of every Blackburn midfielder when they receive the ball. Lots of hassle and harrying will allow us to settle and get ourselves in order, again something that's been lacking and putting us under immediate pressure when an opposing team gets the ball.
Yep, it'll leave us playing the counter attacking game, but to be honest setting ourselves up for a siege mentality-type game is exactly what we need right now, and to be honest we *need* to try something drastically different to get a result tonight. I imagine Blackburn will be coming out all guns blazing against us, so we need to be prepared and not get caught with our proverbial kecks down.
Of course, I've probably got it entirely wrong, and Coyle's Plan B will probably turn out more like the following:
Jaaskelainen
Cahill Alonso
Reo-Coker M/Davies (C)
Kakuta Eagles Knight Klasnic K/Davies Petrov
Apologies for the rather large brain-fart, but I needed to shift that off my chest. Thoughts and opinions welcome and new ideas considered.

I really want to watch this. But don't.
I may just try and ignore it all and quickly jump on my phone and find out the result at 10.
I've more chance of winning the lottery than guessing the line up and score.

There'll be no Joe Riley at right back tonight. He's starting for the reserves against Oldham along with Eaves, Davis, Ricketts and Wheater.
Re: We're hit and we know we are: Bolton vs Jackburn
I'm with you there. Still, the odds are so far stacked in Blackburns favour with the bookies that I've put on a few cheeky bets for Bolton to win. One of which was a 4-0 (Bolton) at 125/1. Figured it's worth a quid.keveh wrote:I really want to watch this. But don't.

PaddyPower seem to be offering the best odds right now.

So, that would mean no Wheater either?Dr Hotdog wrote:There'll be no Joe Riley at right back tonight. He's starting for the reserves against Oldham along with Eaves, Davis, Ricketts and Wheater.

BTW, when SKD was subbed against Fulham, he passed the armband to Cahill. Is Zat Knight still vice-captain? Any significance there?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
Re: We're hit and we know we are: Bolton vs Jackburn
Yeah, that Zat Knight doesn't have anyone's respect. After reading his comments and seeing his presence on the field, I'd only ever give the armband to NRK. He's the only one on the pitch that looks anything remotely like a leader.Armchair Wanderer wrote:So, that would mean no Wheater either?Dr Hotdog wrote:There'll be no Joe Riley at right back tonight. BBC Head to Head facts:
Blackburn have only lost one of their last nine league meetings with Bolton, a 2-1 defeat a year ago at the DW Stadium.

Re: We're hit and we know we are: Bolton vs Jackburn
I pretty much agree with this team except up frotn on his own Klas would do nothing as he's a pretty lazy player we'd have to go Mavies pushed more up to give him support so I'd be tempted to drop Petrov play mavies on the left and then go two upfront with Ngog being the support player and then I'd also swap NRC & Muamba around as Coker gives us more going forward then Mo...Chrisfu wrote:Jaaskelainen

I'm feeling tense now, I'm hoping we can nick it 1-0 but on the back of our recent performances I feel like Slackburn are gonna win 2-0

Watching the game in Nenagh, Southern Ireland with family and friends. Two Newcastle fans, Two ManUre, One Gooner and Two Liverpool. Just hope that we make a better stab at it than Saturday
