Yes, we look good, but so did we against Stoke, and look what happened after that.

But the lads are really giving it a go tonight. Alonso/Petrov combo looking great with the overlapping runs, NRC and Moo dominating the midfield, Klasnic contributing something other than goals up front. Good work - and persistence - by Ngog to set up the first goal. Even Knight has made a couple of useful tackles. If they could just give it this much oomph every week, we can still climb out of this hole.

I told you Alonso would come good! During the US tour Alonso and Petrov were inseparable. Always speaking Spanish with each other.

Maybe because alonso does overlap and helping the attack, and he doesn't shout too much so petrov helps the defence.
