What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

No, no, no it can work beautifully!

Pork and apple (and indeed pear) as an example...

And in fact these are the two meat main dishes currently on the Northcote A-la-carte lunch menu

Bolton Castle Grouse Wellington,
Sweet & Sour Turnip Puree, Roast Pear,
Grouse Parfait

Loin of Bowland Venison, Potato Wrapped
Homemade Black Pudding, Scottish Girolles,
Celeriac Puree, Pickled Damsons

I've had similar that venison dish with damsons there a year or so back and it was bloody delicious I tell thee.....

Pear must be the "in thing"...

So you're telling me if you roasted a lovely pork joint on a Sunday you'd not partake in some apple sauce?

My god...

As for people that don't like celeriac, good god, what is the world coming to? Celeriac is a delight!

I am. Mustard goes with pork, apple goes with pastry and custard. ;)

Ah, but of course you wouldn't have had any accompanying meat though. Peppered pear does sound quite interesting.

I got my old Soccer tapes!

None of them are labelled!!
So I will rewind and check which matches are to begin with.

I can only remember taping Three Bolton matches:
The obvious one, Cup Final Loss to Brough (Boro) and the end of season match with Leeds that sent them down!

Other than that I know there is at least one Foxes match and some Euro 2004 matches.

Lets hope all these tapes are Standard Play!

(I just realised they might not be!!!)

There's some nice person on the tele now that they've just championed as being, and I shite you not, 'the master of the de-constructed dessert'. Oh, what an accolade!

More middle-class food wankery. Urgh.

Think it was on BBC2.

If you've ever had fruitcake with good cheese, you'll know.

If you haven't, I sympathise for your cold, bleak sorry existence.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
