Dunne is fantakka, he will be a great signing and our new 'ace' captain.

Can't see Dunne being a realistic target, he goes against the Coyle philosophy of bringing in younger players.
There is no way we could play a high line with him/Wheater/Knight in defence.
Although on one side, his leadership is desperately needed.

The high line approach isnt working anyway(we rarely have the ball long enough to push up and when we do the trap usually fails and we get the familiar sight of robinson desperately trying to catch a whippet) and whilst Coyle may have a philosophy of bringing in younger players on this occasion he may be wise to look for experience and leadership.

We get enough scored against us without buying a CB who will slot a few pass the prostrate Jussi.

I feel sorry for Eddie Davies, I hope if he met with Coyle face to face that he gave the man a few strong words. Time to man up and at least anyone who comes in the January transfer window SHOULD have the right spirit to fight for the club.

Intriguingly – sadly – the rules seem to say you can only borrow one player per season from the same club.
Here's the OP - I can't find the new season's rules on http://www.premierleague.com/ but y'all are welcome to dig7.5 the maximum number of Temporary Transfers to any one Club registrable in the same Season shall be 4 and in no circumstances shall more than 1 be from the same Transferor Club save there shall be excluded from these numbers any Temporary Transfer of the kind described in Rule M.7.6.1 or M.7.6.2;
7.6 not more than 2 Temporary Transfers shall be registered by a Club at the same time except that there shall be excluded from that number:
7.6.1 any Temporary Transfer which become permanent; and 7.6.2 the Temporary Transfer of a goalkeeper which in its absolute discretion the Board
may allow in circumstances it considers to be exceptional

Well, those rules were written by lawyers !! B-hell, they read like gobbledy-gook to me.
I'd expect that the clubs are well aware of what they mean and if so any discussion about Mc-whatnot either has never occurred or if it has then the rules permit for it.
Then again I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition !

Dunno Bobo, there seems to be at least one club a year who gets kicked out of one of the cups because they didn't understand the eligibility rules!

I'd have thought we need people instantly available. Buggering off to ACN for January doesn't leave much use of him for getting us out of the current mess..

Really couldn't be worse.
