I've just done a day and a half. Bored out of my mind. Didn't speak to a soul. Took this afternoon off as I was going stir crazy. Still didn't speak to anyone other than asking for a pint in the pub. Back home now. Was that a pin dropping?

I'm in by choice - I too have found that trying to do anything that involves anyone else in the UK is a waste of time. Anyway, I have been able to tie up some of my own loose ends that I've been saving up with these days in mind, and have actually found that the Germans are at work at the moment, so have got a couple of things done that involves German companies.

Anyone else back at it already?
yes... and I worked christmas day...

Rain. Enough's enough already. About time they found a way to share it out round the world. Our back garden's like Lake Windermere, walking the dog is a nightmare and now we've developed a leak in the hall, due to the wind driving rain under the porch tiles. Water got into the hall phone and now that's packed up. Enough, I say.

I quite enjoy driving and am no slow coach when in the car normally but the rain was horrendous on the M25 driving back from Essex today (once nice Mr Green Flag had put me back on the road after my break down) and i had to slow down to a crawl. Was quite scary actually, was wishing it would stop too, Tango!

books that seem to have a long way to go, so you assume there is another plot twist to come - but then they just end and you find that the last 30 pages are a prequel to the next in the series or another author from their publishing stable... feck off!!!!

Don't want to spoil it, but they're probably on WtW's Shelf of Shame.

Crackers that break, before you've finished building them with cheese and pate.

Fnarr.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I can't connect the wii to the internet.

The USD$51.05 order I tried was declined because I am about 40 cents short.

I Should not have bought 2 copies of He-Man She-ra Christmas special dvd for future gifts!

You're 40c short of a postal order? Is that a euphonium?

I got given a AUD$100 online shopping card.
Spent AUD49.40 the other day.

So I just miss out on buying four dodgy dvds for USD51.05

51.05 USD = 49.9369 AUD

wait that should work out! I am angry, I will try again....

(I was angry before as I though I was getting jibbed on rates)

I'll edit in or post an update soon... :D

I just check this: 50.00 AUD = 51.1167 USD
So technically it must work!

I tried it.... "You have exceeded the maximum number of payment attempts. Please try again later"

This time last year I got many attempts in, like about 8 or so. Today I got three :?

Hopefully I can try again before the sale ends
