He had his chance initially. No way he was going to appear silly by making a decent offer now.

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has revealed the club are struggling to agree personal terms with Gary Cahill, saying they are 'miles apart'.

Bolton confirmed on Friday that they had agreed terms with the West London giants in a deal believed to be worth around £5million.

Cahill has already held talks with Chelsea, but Villas-Boas has confirmed that things are not going as well as planned.

"We're still miles apart regarding agreement with the player," he said, warning the Blues had alternative targets.

"We'll continue to monitor this situation as we continue to monitor others."

Villas-Boas was confident, however, an agreement would eventually be reached and hailed the qualities Cahill would bring to Stamford Bridge.

"Gary has been this season involved in a fighting struggle with Bolton and a fight for position in the league," he said.

"I think his technical attributes are immense. His pace is fantastic as well.

"There are weaknesses and they are also related to the collective weaknesses of Bolton.

"He's a player that at international level has been playing well.

"He can add to this squad or any squad in the Premier League."

Villas-Boas revealed midfielder Josh McEachran would not be joining Bolton on loan but could move to another club.

So this means we'll have to wait longer for the cahill with the chance it won't happen and now we won't be getting McEachran on loan

His agents clearly a cock

I'll be amazed if Chelsea aren't offering him more than what he is on at the moment!

Being a cock/doing his job. I'd be very surprised if they don't get there in the end, but the whole out of contract in the summer, no transfer fee massive signing on fee instead card will be being played.

Can't go against Wolves, so last time I'll have seen him in a whites shirt will be that shambles last week. Shame. Really good player, top footballer. Going to be a lot of folk get a jolt when it's Wheater/Knight every week! Hopefully instead the feckers will take some responsibility, but I'm not confident. If we think it's bad for knock it aimlessly long at the moment.....

He'll do well there, he and Terry compliment each other well.

5 million for an England centre back. That has to be the bargain of the season.

5 million with 2 million for appearance. Thats what bolton are getting. Can you get a better player for 5 million? Or should Bolton stand their way and realise Cahill could help them stay up and that would be worth more than 5 million. Thats the argument you guys used in the summer when Arsenal offered 12 million. 12 million with 2 million for appearance.

Im just laughing at gartside for making fool of himself on twitter and now is getting raped by chelsea

I'm laughing at you, making a c**k of yourself on here.

Are you really convinced that a person like you with no credentials spouting sh**e on a forum that you appear on to repeat the same drivel over and over again will be listened to, or taken seriously?
